When I hurt my knee a second time, I RAN to Oly Orthopedics. They are hands down the best! Agtarap is great at what he does.

Within 5 steps into his office he was able to tell me exactly what the X-rays and MRIs and my VA doctors have determined, my right knee is bone in bone and the left is on the same path

Was having some discomfort in my medial area of my knee, met with Dr. Agtarap, and reviewed the imaging. He checked my range of motion, knee mobility, etc., and recommended a Cortisone shot into the tendon. He was extremely positive about the progress with the new knee and in resolving the issue I was having. I'm very pleased with the concern he showed for my knee issue and his professionalism in handling it.

Dr Agtrap is AMAZING!!! He’s a Knee God! His bed side manner can’t be beat! He is compassionate and works to get you back on your feet (literally) as soon as he can!!

Dr Agatarap went over X-rays and examined knee. He made a diagnosis and explained why and what that meant. Very thorough and logical. Made future plan.

Dr Agtarap actually listened to me and didn't just jump straight to surgery as a solution and that means a lot to me.

Dr. Agtarap did total knee replacement on one of my knees a few years ago. I had problems with my knee from the beginning, including instability and excessive swelling. He told me the instability was normal. At my urging, he tried a few things to ease the swelling, but they failed. He did not seem interested in going any further, did not offer to consult with other docs or research similar outcomes. Instead, he called me an outlier and said I would just have to live with it. Those were his exact words. I found another surgeon who diagnosed the problem with no difficulty, and I had revision surgery with him a few months ago. My knee is fine now. I still find it hard to believe that instead of helping me, Dr. Agtarap chose to label and dismiss me instead.

Dr. A has been treating my painful knees for years and finally in February I had a total knee replacement on my left knee. All along the way he and his staff have explained my problems, options and treatment well. I was always encouraged to ask questions and they were answered. My surgical experience was positive and 7 weeks post op I am doing well.

I had a total knee replacement (first of two). Dr. Agtarap, Michelle McGinley and their team walked me through everything from the planning stages to post surgery recovery. Everything happened exactly the way that they had explained it to me. This was the first surgery I had ever had and it was the best I think I could’ve expected. I feel really good about going in for my other knee.

Dr Agtrap replaced my left knee too years ago and my right knee last year. Both my knees are doing really well I have no pain when walking climbing stairs or working in the yard. I could even kneel on a pillow with no pain.

In one year I was able to understand my knee pain, receive timely injections and now realize I need a knee replacement. Dr A was patient with me as I wrestled with this reality.

Our family always seeks Anthony’s advice for all our orthopedics needs. His professionalism is recognized by everyone he works with. With two nurses in the hospital, he comes highly recommended.

Dr. Agtarap recently did my right knee replacement. My experience with Dr. Agtarap and his team was excellent from start to finish. The professionalism and knowledge were impeccable, the friendliness and humor were so comfortable. Dr.Agtarap, his team, and Olympia Orthopaedics get an A+ from me!!

Dr Agtarap did not bother to look at my knee after being told to put on these horrible hospital shorts. He did not make me feel comfortable and also he did not have a nurse in the room!! As a doctor and a surgeon I was expecting a level of care that I did not receive. Most importantly and most damaging and distressing to my health is he did not talk about the do's and don'ts of my condition. He just wrote me off as do therapy on the knee for 6weeks. I have a lot more to say and not enough space or desire at this time to get upset.

Dr. Agtarap, Michelle McGinley and the whole team at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates were outstanding at educating me on a plan for my knee replacement. I went in with high expectations and they were met by a team that did such a great job now after 6 weeks all the pressure is on me to hold up my part. Oh and by the way waiting to hear the date for my other knee. A big thanks to the whole Team Agtarap.

I went in to follow up with Dr. Agtarap on a surgery he did in 2017. He was very professional and took the time to thoroughly explain my prognosis and the likely care that will be needed in the future. He does a good job explaining things in a way the average person can understand. I didn't feel rushed through the appointment and he took his time in explaining things to me. I have always felt the care I recieved from Dr. Agtarap and his team has been nothing short of excellent and I would highly recommend him.

Both TKR’s from Dr A, in both cases was able to get back to golfing right way. And placing in local golf club championships. Also, immediately back to gym, bike, stair master and weights. I have the upmost respect for Dr A and Michelle. They are the very best Orthopaedic doctors and people. What a great team to be on! Thank you so much!

I found Dr. Agtarap to be professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. Since there is history with him also being a physician for a family member, I already had a positive opinion of him. It was rewarding to find that my personal opinion supported that!
