I may be 69 but I’m not dead yet! Just because the way someone said the start of their pain occurred is not the standard doesn’t mean an injury couldn’t have occurred. The medications a patient is on needs to be considered especially when they are not the everyday standard medications - one of the medications that I am on is Anastrozole. Please check out Anastrozole and the documentation on tendons. When someone comes in with a bodily complaint they should be taken seriously. Please , in the future keep in mind that not everyone is “classic “ in the way of diagnosis”. Arthritis may be a factor but arthritis does not cause the knee to buckle backwards. In light of the literature on Anastrozole you might want to write an addendum to your note of another possible reason for my knee pain.

Visit for knee & groin pain
Dr. Stier was very professional and took the time to understand my complaint. He ordered X-rays of my hip and knee. Afterwards he explained the results and my options. We opted to do a Hyalurinate gel injection as it met my needs and he also gave me a script for PT. He had a nice demeanor and I never felt rushed.
