Dr. Gerard D'Onofrio, MD

Today I had an ultrasound guided injection into my right hip bursa. Dr D'Onofrio is amazing, this injection was painless and quick. I'm looking forward to the next few days to see how my hip feels, so far so good! I highly recommend Dr D'Onofrio and his staff. I appreciate his explanations and his bedside manner. He knew right where my pain was coming from and fixed it! Ice and acetaminophen tonight after a good nap this afternoon. I feel better already!

Personable and very informative

Dr. D'Onofrio has provided excellent care for the past year. He spends time listening to me and explaining all of my options for treatment. His office staff, including Dana make for a pleasant and informative experience. Highly Recommend

I was impressed that he had read my record and viewed my MRI before he met me. No one else at the very large group where he practices has ever done that. He was knowledgeable and personable and treated me as a human being--not a diagnosis. I really like him and believe he will get me on track in dealing with my skeletal issues.

Does not spend appropriate time with his patients or provide a clear explanation of the issues. My MRI was denied by my insurance and no follow up to give the insurance additional info as to why it's needed. Terrible office staff.

Dr D’Onofrio treated my husband for leg issues and me for hip pain. He always spent enough time with us to listen to us, answer our questions and concerns and to thoroughly explain the causes and the treatments for our problems. What impressed me was that he had already looked up a 2 year old MRI report and scan done by a previous physiatrist before my appointment. We both believe that he is an excellent doctor and are confident in taking his advice. He has a terrific personality, and very easy to communicate with.

Was referred to Dr, D'Onofrio for severe back pain and was very confident in his approach and diagnosis of my problem. I was very impressed with the initial visit and the followup care he and his staff provided. He fully explained the problem, test results, and the required treatments as well as possible future followup required. I highly recommend him and the entire Summit Health group.

Dr. D'Onofrio was wonderful. I can't say enough about his knowledge and professionalism. He is very attentive and goes over all tests and procedures with you so the average person can understand. He helped me through my back issues until they were resolved. He was always on time and spent enough time with me to discuss my situation. I never felt rushed or hurried along. I would definitely refer him to any family and friends that need him.

Dr. D'Onofrio is very knowledgeable. He takes time with his patients and explains things in a way that you can understand. He cares about the outcome his patients have with the treatments he uses. I would highly recommend Dr. D'Onofrio.
