I've never been treated by Dr. Jahnke, but met him in NOLA when an obvious doctors conference or new medical treatment education was being held there. I worked in Histology at Rapides Regional Medical Center at that time and was very interested to find out what they were doing. We (my son, his dad, and I) were spending the day to tour the Audubon Zoo, Museum of Art , and Aquarium free as my son was an honor role or principal's list student with Staight A's. As I saw Dr. Jahnke approaching us, I knew I could ask bc he was "American"! I stopped him and asked why they were there. He is German, extremely well articulated as he told me it was an abstract conference on Oncology. I'd asked questions about it as I was a transcriptionist in Histology. He'd done a study that was in the thick abstract book, then told me he worked at the charity hospital in Berlin which has 3,000 beds. hus a friendship began. He is one of the few ELITE doctors I've ever met!
