Dr. Kishore Maganty, MD

Went to Dr. Maganty in Feb 2024 for stomach pain. During std endoscopy my esophagus was torn at Village Square Endoscopy Center resulting in ambulance ride to hospital, 6 day stay in hospital, 4 days without food or water. so esophagus could heal. It was very painful resulting in ~$1,200 extra out-of-pocket medical expenses. No help with extra medical expenses was offered by Dr. Maganty or endoscopy center. Turns out that the problem was 3, large gallstones in biliary duct which were removed with stent placed and removed after gallbladder removal by another gastronenterologist who told me the tools needed for that procedure were twice as big as standard endoscopy and he would not tear my esophagus. Neither Dr. Maganty nor primary care physician at the time diagnosed my problem correctly. Patient beware.

After 3 pancreatic procedures with this person, I'm worse than I began. All along said he would take biopsies and never did. Knowing there's a underlying problem. It's like a assembly line with him. Get in, get done, make promises for the next ..then bail. I would fully stay away from this doctor for pancreatic issues!!

I had a colonoscopy and Dr Maganty and his staff were outstanding and the procedure went flawlessly.

Dr. Maganty took the time to listen to all my problems and concerns. Made me feel comfortable and not rushed. He honestly cares about his patients and most important of all for me, a living person answers the phone and what ever questions I had Dr. Maganty’s secretary called me back with the answers from Dr. Maganty, before my colonoscopy.

DR. MAGANTY IS A VERY SKILLED PHYSICIAN. MY HUSBAND IS A RETIRED GASTROENTEROLIGST AND IS VERY COMFOTRABLE WITH DR. MAGANTY'S COMPETENCE. DR. MAGANTY IS ALSO PERSONABLE - A BONUS. HE CARES FOR HIS PATIENTS, AS EVIDENCED BY A FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL THE DAY AFTER MY PROCEDURE. I HAVE NEVER BEFORE RECEIVED SUCH ATTENTION. DR. MAGANTY IS OPEN TO QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINS HIS FINDINGS THOROUGHLY. POST-OP, I RECEIVED WRITTEN RESULTS ACCOMPANIED BY PHOTOS. I NEVER GOT THAT "RUSHED" OR "ASSEMBLY LINE" FEELING, WITHOUT HESITATION I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. MAGANTY.

I recently had my very 1st colonoscopy performed by Dr. Maganty. He and his staff were excellent. Staff were professional and respectful. I arrived when asked and my registration and procedure were done during the designated time. The facility was conveniently located in North County right off 270. The facility and linen was clean. My "procedure" was done very Professionally with a great deal of "CARE and CONCERN"! I was impressed on the way the staff did the procedure in a way that I felt very comfortable. I was informed what would happen as I went through it. When finished, I was treated in recovery by Carol who offered me a drink. I told her that I was allergic to citric acid and only could drink Dr. Pepper! She had brought one from home that she kindly offered to me! GREAT JOB all around! Thank You, Rich
