Dr. Keyan Salari, MD

Dr. Salari recently performed a robotic prostatectomy on me to remove my prostate after being in active surveillance for about a year after my diagnosis. Prior to the prostatectomy, Dr. Salari did two biopsies before recommending treatment. He has an outstanding resume including education at a top university and practical training at two of the top medical facilities in the country. He is thoughtful, thorough, confident and highly capable. And he is incredibly easy to talk to. He knew exactly what needed to be done and everything he said was accurate through every step of the process. I highly recommend him to anyone who is at the front end of a prostate cancer diagnosis and wants to work with the very best. He performed the procedure at Newton Wellesley Hospital because it was more convenient for me. The staff their like and respect him and my experience with that team was fantastic. I also worked most closely with Molly (NP) and she is awesome. Again, I highly recommend him.

I visited Dr. Salari to discuss prostate cancer diagnosis. I decided to move forward with surgery, and the procedure went very well with a quick recovery. I credit him for helping me move forward with life.

Incredible physician with great bedside manner. There are few urologists that have both an MD and a PhD and I found his expertise in urologic cancer and genetics incredibly valuable. He is clearly dedicated to patient care and made me feel well cared for. He responded to all of my questions in a timely manner and set my expectations appropriately for surgery and recovery. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

I found Dr. Salari quite positive in treating my symptoms and very encouraging. He listened very patiently, answered my questions in a clear and understandable manner which helped me to relax and feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and reassuring and I would highly recommend him.

Don't go to this doctor he has been at mass general for only a year plus he is very negative and talks like he knows everything when he really doesn't. We will be going to see a different doctor.
