Dr Reinard is a very compassionate surgeon, who listens, and formulates a medical/surgical plan, based on the patients input. He showed me a normal MRI scan and compared this to mine. He took time to show what a normal cervical spine measurement should be and how mine was severely different. He told he would never push surgery and it was up to me as to how we would proceed. In no fashion, did he ever show arrogance, rather pure compassion and kindness and allowed myself and my husband to be an active part of my treatment plan.I am a RN with over 33 years of experience. I've had the honor of being his patient and would highly recommend Dr Reinard to any of my family, friends days and our community. Thank you, Dr Reinard!

I would recomend him.
He performed a craniotomy on a family member, and while they were under surgery suffered an aneurysm and his quick action saved their life. He made time to come by the hospital and speak with us about our concerns and has followed up well and answered all of our questions.

On April 23rd, my daughter suffered a massive stroke. It was our good fortune that Dr. Reinard was the neurosurgeon on duty that fateful day. I fully believe that he saved her life. His knowledge and expertise in his field are phenomenal. If we ever need a neurosurgeon again, it will be Dr. Reinard. Do some have long wait times when visiting his office? Perhaps it's because he takes his time and doesn't rush his patients out the door. Are some phone calls or messages left unanswered? This falls on the shoulders of his office help, not him. A follow-up call might help. It's difficult for some to comprehend that we are not his only patients. As far as his skills as a doctor, there are few that could hold a candle to him and that's what is important.

Very disappointed
Dr. Reinard looked my file over, he decided I didn’t need surgery. He never talked to me never ask any questions. He recommended I lose weight, yes that’s probably true. I’ve had back surgery before I have 6 screws and 2 rods. I’ve had hardware fail, had to have a revision, I’ve had an infection had to have a wound vac. I had both knees replaced. Pain management has been suggested. I’ve done that already and they hit a nerve the first time I have chronic drop foot. I have constant pain down the right leg knee and foot. For Dr Reinard to dismiss my condition without even seeing me to very disrespectful. So no good review from me, will get second opinion.

What I have to say is more then 1000 characters. Very disappointed by this office. A patient should not be ignored when calls are made and message sent. 10 days go by and counting with no response. This is not the first poor have gotten from a ProMedica Specialist or Facility. Will not seek care with them again.

There are no words, I am so grateful and I tell everyone with any spinal injuries / issues, Dr. Reinard is the surgeon to see. The nurses, scheduler, etc are awesome. The lady at the front desk is unpleasant. It can be a very long wait at the office if a morning surgery runs long.

Dr. Reinard is truly a gifted neurosurgeon. Very straightforward and confident. He has a nice sense of humor that he keeps well hidden so as to not distract from the serious matters at hand. I would and have enthusiastically recommended him should anyone find themselves in need of his services. I don't think there's anyone better at his job in this region of the country...maybe the entire country!

I had a pinched nerve in my neck that another surgeon said needed physical therapy to correct, I sought a second opinion from Kevin and he assured me that it was a easy fix and that I would have a much better quality of life after the repair. I knew very soon after waking up from the surgery that it was taken care of.....I needed NO PAIN meds postoperative and walked out of the hospital 24 hours later a new man ! Thank you Kevin !

Dr Reinard did surgery on my husband this week. My husband is doing amazing and I really felt that Dr. Reinard explained things well, was very empathetic and appears to have done an amazing job. Would recommend him to others. We don't know the outcome of the brain tumor from the tests yet but we will deal with that as we find out next week. Haven't been to the office yet, thus no comments.
