Dr. Kevin Rapeport is an excellent and well respected Cardiologist. I have trusted my heart health to him for well over a decade and count myself very fortunate to have him. He is kind and compassionate and although he has a busy practice, has never failed to take whatever time I need to address any questions or concerns I might have had. He truly cares about his patients and their well being. His entire staff are all friendly and personable. I think of him not only as my Doctor but also my friend. I would highly recommend Dr. Rapeport to anyone looking for the best in a Cardiologist!

I went in for him to check my stunts because my stunt was giving me a lot of problems and I was having a lot of chest pain and first of all I felt him cut me open I screamed and cried the whole time because I felt all the pain and he did not increase any of my medicine he didn't stop and wait and give me more medicine and wait for that to work he just kept going on so for a half hour I screamed and cried at the top of my lungs he didn't care horrible man

Like Dr. Rapeport’s approach…non alarmist.

Dr. Rapeport refused two requests to refill my much-needed prescription and then did not extend the courtesy of contacting me by phone as his staff member indicated that he would. I can accept the fact that he is a busy gentleman, but in my opinion, this is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior.

Dr Rapeport and his staff are truly the best. I can always get an appointment with in a day or two and the staff is always very polite. Dr. Rapeport really knows his way around the heart and is very knowledgeable in many areas. Recommend this office to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

My experience with the staff and nurses was wonderful. That all changed when Dr. Rapeport came in. He was generally bossy, dismissive and seemed arrogant. He mocked my walking style on the treadmill (I am 81 years old and have spinal and mobility issues). He interrupted me when I asked questions. He refused to discuss options, causes and alternative solutions to medication (such as losing weight, changing diet, etc.) It was medication or nothing. He claimed that changing diet and losing weight would have no effect on LDL, when many studies show otherwise. But he's the boss: as he said, "Either you do what I tell you, or you walk out of here and never come back." I left, changed my diet and lost 10lbs (6% of body weight). Three months later I had reduced LDL by 37% - into the 'safe' zone. HDL and triglycerides were also good. So: not only did he show zero respect for me as a patient or as a human being, he was flat-out wrong, and gave bad advice.

Wonderful. Dr Rapeport helped saved my life when I was in the hospital and had a 10percent chance of living. Goes above and beyond!

Dr. Rapeport and his staff, both in his office and at Scripps Memorial Hospital, were impecable at every stage of what would ordinarily be a very stressful experience. He and they were the epitome of best practices from the initial consultation and diagnosis to the implant of 2 stents in a severely blocked Left Anterior Descending artery. I could not have hoped for a better outcome and was up and running (actually biking) within 5 days of the surgery. From the moment I was admitted to Scripps until my discharge 24 hours later, I was everyone's priority and they excelled at every turn and there were many of them. I feel very blessed to have had the A team and eternally grateful for what I can already feel is a new lease on life. Thank you Dr. Rapeport for having both my back and heart!

Gives out prescription drugs too easily

Dr Rapeport and his staff have been very supportive to myself and my family. I would recommend him to anyone requiring a cardiologist.

The doctor is incredibly intelligent and takes a great interest in his patients. Most importantly, he really listens and gives one all the time you need. Truly, an exceptional medical professional in these days.

Very knowledgable and compassionate; has saved many lives and is very dedicated to his patients. If you need a heart specialist, Dr. Rapeport is your physician!
