Dr. Kellie Schenk, MD

I had a breast biopsy performed by Dr. Kellie Schenk recently and she and her staff were excellent. I had previously had a biopsy done in the past that was a nightmare, so I was very fearful to get another one. Starting with Dr. Schenk's breast specialist scheduler, Kara, to her mammo, ultrasound, and MRI techs, they were all awesome. Kara took me under her wing from the beginning, and Dr. Schenk made the procedure run smoothly and made me feel very comfortable. A breast biopsy is never fun but this time was much easier!

I had an MRI of abdomen w/contrast and it was read by Dr. Schenk. I have never seen a radiology report as devoid of information. She literally did not describe a single organ or anatomical feature in any detail. I worry she didn't even look at my images. Now I must have a second radiologist look at my imaging. Her report is so worthless and nondescript that I can even cut and paste her ENTIRE findings here. Here it is - Liver: No focal hepatic lesions. GB/Biliary: Prior cholecystectomy. No biliary dilatation. Pancreas: Normal. Spleen: Normal in size without focal lesion. Adrenal Glands: Normal bilaterally. Kidneys: No evident masses nor hydronephrosis. Bowel/Mesentery: Normal in caliber. No inflammatory process identified. Lymph Nodes: No retroperitoneal nor mesenteric lymphadenopathy. Aorta/Vasculature: Unremarkable. Peritoneum: No ascites or soft tissue deposits. Abdominal Wall: Intact. Bones: Normal for age. No suspicious focal bone lesions. Other: Negative.

Her radiology reports are so brief as to make imaging almost worthless.

Dr. Kellie Schenk severely and permanently injured me while performing a procedure. This could have been prevented.
