Dr. Katrina Timson, MD

I had scheduled a visit as I had switched insurances and was in need of a new Primary (as my current one was giving me the impression they were going to retire). Well having seen her, we did not address ANY of my concerns, ran me through a typical check-up, and then checked me out. I spent more of my entire visit with her nurse than with her. I wouldnt recommend unless you just need a quick check-up. (on a side note, my husband was given the 3rd degree when he simply wanted to switch car keys but I was in the office. They even claimed I wasn't there until the nurse finally agreed to ask me if I knew him.)

She always listened to my problems and gave me advice on how to get well.

Been her patient since the early 90's. I moved out of Newark but still keep her as my primary doctor. All of my visits with her always been very pleasant. Our communication always has been efficient and professional. She always ensure my health being. Thanks for a great service, Dr. Katrina Timson!

I have been going to Dr. Timson for the last 7yrs. I’ve never once been bullied into any medications or vaccinations. I’ve also never had a bad experience with her PA, Dr. Joan. Both have treated me professional and courteous at every visit. Highly recommend! John D

I have been with Dr. Timson for a while and the above reviews aren't my experience at all. Dr. Timson has always gone out of her way to help me. She's never bullied me into anything, instead offers the science behind her thinking (and I usually offer the science behind my thinking) and she respects my decision. I have a great deal of respect for her opinion, which is not common for me. I tend to not trust doctors.

here. Dr.Timpson, and Dr.Joan are horrible. Dr Timpson was my doctor but let me tell you 9 times out of 10 something was wrong and she couldn't make it so Joan had to do the appointment. Joan the worst example of a good female doctor, she makes you feel horrible about your body image expecially if your not skinny, or your teeth are not white. She would constantly make my parents feel bad about my brothers weight, well guess what Joan. He is skinnier than me now and I should of got a new primary care doctor when he did. You go in for something and they dismiss it completely. Joan is more concerned about what she thinks sounds true to her. Prepare to feel judged when you be seen by her, and as for Dr.Timpson she doesn't even care about what's going on, so feel free to have a very short session and feel completely dismissed, coming out of there feeling more misunderstood by the doctor than the nurse who who wrote everything down.

ought to have her license stripped. a simple condition from which i still continue to suffer because of her neglect and oversight has cost me jobs, excellent health and even relationships. the condition could have been properly addressed had she either read of the condition diagnosed in 93 or just gave my previous gyn a call. both her and her cnp guessed at the heavy bleeding taking numerous cbc thinking it was an infection, or explaining it was change of life and periods getting longer. a

Very cold and unapproachable. Was never really comfortable with her but only saw her because her office was close to where I lived. Was extremely sick (2 months) and she did not help me or give me anything to relieve my symptoms. Bullied me into getting a vaccine which cause tinnitus and permanent hearing loss. Horrible experience with lifelong consequences.
