Dr. Katie Rosell, MD

I met Dr Rosell as my husband’s doctor for Alzheimer’s. She was terrific for him. I consulted her on my Parkinson’s DBS surgery and was assured I was the perfect candidate. She turned me over to another doctor that very same day. It has been a year since the surgery and I haven’t heard from her since. The other doctor engaged the services of a brain doctor. He was extremely unqualified in this field. He used a 2017 device that was sitting on a shelf for my brain surgery. I had to go to KU med to get it programmed correctly. And that is just a part of what I’ve gone through. Meanwhile the surgeon died. I have had many tell me how bad a doctor he was after my surgery had taken place; patients and professionals such as surgical nurses among them. I feel Dr Rosell should have known this as well. Shame on the Doctors that knew he was horrible and let him do surgery he is not capable of performing well. This is one of the major problems with medicine, nobody says the truth.

I refer everyone I know who might need a Neurologist to her. She REALLY listens, trusts you to know your body, and is willing to try new things in your treatment. She is a fantastic doctor.
