Dr. Kathleen McGinley, DO

I had an 8AM appointment with Dr. McGinley to discuss test results. Unfortunately, the results were negative, and very serious, which was unexpected. Dr. McGinley, my regular doctor, chose not to meet with me, sending her Nurse Practitioner instead so that Dr. McGinley could attend a meeting. This was beyond disappointing. I had serious life choices to make, and I worked these out with the Nurse practitioner instead of with Dr. McGinley, whom I had been seeing regularly. When things got serious, Dr. McGinley flat out abandoned me. She didn't skip our appointment for an emergency- she skipped it for a meeting. This demonstrates a complete lack of compassion at a time when I needed to make important life decisions. Unfortunately, I will have to find a different doctor.

I had large kidney stones that were stuck and unable to pass. I was under the best care throughout the complete process. I felt comfortable and well informed at all times. I will never see anyone else for any issue or check ups. Dr McGinley is never to busy to explain or answer any concerns.

Dr. McGinley is kind, compassionate and understanding. She always takes any extra time needed to explain and answer any question I might have. My bladder surgeries have been exceptional and she continues to reassure my family with her findings.

I am so thankful that when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was given Dr McGinley as my doctor. She is one of the best. Very compassionate and thorough. Finally had my surgery in June after my cancer had advanced. Everything went smooth. Cancer free so far, no complications from surgery such as incontinence....very happy

I have only the best of things to say about Dr. McGinley. She performed my cancer surgery, and from our early meetings through the surgery, I cannot conceive of anyone more professional, compassionate, willing to take the time necessary to answer all of my questions, understanding of my concerns, skilled - she has a gift, she is methodical, meticulous and extremely thorough. She has all the qualities one would want heading into surgery. I can't recommend her more highly.

Dr McGinley went above and beyond! She was extremely comforting during a very stressful time. She spent extra time explaining details and was not bothered by the many questions and concerns that I had prior to surgery. After the surgery, she came to the hospital 2-3 times each day to check on my progress. Finding a surgeon with both knowledge, skill and bedside manner is rare. I would recommend her without hesitation.
