Dr. Katarzyna Kocol, DO

Dr. Kocol is kind, compassionate, and great at what she does. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kocul is the best in the business. I have had several injections, and epidurals from her and she has never missed. I’ve always opted out of anesthesia because I want my visit to be short and sweet. When she told me I’d need an epidural for the pain I was experiencing, I was terrified. I have two kids and opted out of epidurals because of the horror stories I’ve heard. Dr Kocul is the only doctor I’ve trusted for this procedure and I’ve willingly gone back - fully conscious to let her do them. She, and her team, is absolutely amazing.

She is wonderful! Caring and kind and willing to help. She has injected my neck twice and it has helped me have a looser neck. Not as tight anymore! My neck is a mess, but she has helped it!

Relieved sciatic nerve pain in 2019. Time to go in again- 5 years without pain was awesome!

Dr. Kocol listens to her patients and genuinely wants to help them with their problems and pain. She has helped me and many members of my family. I was rear ended by a truck in a traffic accident and have severe neck injury that causes me to have migraines. She injects my neck and back with steroids that help tremendously. I am very grateful for her expertise and treatments!

Dr. Kocol was rushed, made a diagnosis and left the room and did not return. Staff came in to tell me what was going to happen next. The staff is unresponsive to phone calls and prescription refills. If your medication requires a Prior Authorization it is problematical if you will ever get it. I having been waiting 3 weeks for a prescription to be filled and they can't find the time to answer some questions from the insurance company. I am looking for another Doctor. Good medical knowledge, very poor patient care.

I have seen her multiple times. However her staff sure do make her look bad. I’ve never been treated with the disrespect, or lack of class like I am When I have to see and deal with her nurses. I would recommend Dr. kocol but again her staff is awful so I don’t know what happens behind closed doors when this is the treatment up front from them. They are very dismissal, disrespectful, and lack caring.

Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. She spent a total of about 3 minutes with me before walking out of room to get something. I thought she would return, but only her nurse did. I asked for the doctor to return so I could finish explaining my issue, but the nurse said the doctor had two other appointments and then had to go to the hospital. Bottom line is that I waited over an hour and got charged for a visit but never got to finish telling the doctor about my issue.

Totally dismissed me after one appointment and one blood work up claiming that my pain wasn't part of her specialty. Find that hard to believe for a pain management doctor. Couldn't even get the doctor to talk to me, it was only her nurse who said several times in a minute long conversation that we can refer you, and I never received a referral (although I am glad because I would not trust a referral from this doctor). I have a complicated case and it seems she doesn't want to bother with that.

Dr Kocol is a great doctor! Her assistant also is very nice, friendly and professional Dr Kocol is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything about your care and treatment. She is very friendly and I actually enjoy my appointment. I would recommend her and give her a A+ She is the best!

Dr. Kocol was my pain management physician at Steadman Hawkins of the Carolinas in Greenville, SC. She is the most compassionate and responsive doctor I have ever had, and gave my life a quality I would not otherwise have had. I have not been able to find anyone yet that meets her superior care, which has been disappointing. You will love Dr. Kocol as she makes a difference in the quality of your health. She is a truly caring physician.

Dr. Kocol is a wonderful and caring Doctor. Tries to help her patients and is very understanding.

This Dr spent seven minutes in the office with me, was rude and interrupted me while I spoke. Most importantly she completely MISDIAGNOSED me. DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTOR.

This woman was rude and inconsiderate. I waited for 2 hours for my appointment and she spent less than 10 minutes with me. She interrupted me while I spoke, she didn't listen to what I said, I felt like she diagnosed me before she even came in the room. This woman is a terrible physician.

Met with Dr Kocol about a shoulder problem. She gave me an injection and prescribed therapy. The injection helped me do the therapy which solved the problem. Everyone else I saw wanted to do surgery. Thanks Dr Kocol.

Great very informative

Dr. Kocol is fabulous!! My husband, son, & I are treated by Dr. Kocol for various ailments from back to knee to shoulder injuries. Above all she joins w/ each one of us working towards better health. Our input is required & she helps each of us develop a course of action towards healing. Knowledgeable w/ an awesome bedside manner, Dr. Kocol is a fabulous doctor! She works a day in Simpsonville & other days in Greenville. Appointments can take time waiting...but definitely worth the wait!!!
