Charges for diaognistics lab work even if they are routine labs such as for vitamin d, iron . Doctor should make an effort to give routine lab codes for routine lab work and give diaognisitic code for medical part of labwork. Doctor is lazy and just books all lab work under diaognistic. As a result, the assessment after visit cost is huge and so is the lab work cost. The Tufts primary care doesnt bother to answer questions on why the codes are different and doesnt bother to change them or provide codes. They simply say that you have low vitamin d so thats why it is a medical lab work. That is just trying to make excuses, when they did not even know if you were on low vitamin d before the lab work.
