I was seen quickly following my cancer results. The staff was wonderful. Dr. Zink did a beautiful job; giving me the cleanest scare possible. I felt totally taken care of; top rate care!

Dr. Zink is an excellent choice for general surgery, and I highly recommend. Are you sick of docs that don't listen? Who gloss over your concerns? I sure am! Dr. Zink really listens and picks up on what matters. Respectful and empathetic, she is so committed that she took the bus in the pre-dawn hours in the middle of a snow/ice storm to get to the hospital to perform my procedure!! She is super smart, well spoken and kind. She went over and above to take care of some unexpected turn of events found while I was on her operating table -on the spot. She saved me a lot of additional pain and grief for sure! Her staff -front desk/scheduling, pre-op coordinating, and medical assistants are also very competent and friendly. I had a great experience choosing The Oregon Clinic and Dr. Zink for the biggest medical event I have had in all my 58 years. THANK YOU! :-)

Not only is Dr Zink an especially great, caring, empathetic surgeon, because she is all of that, but she’s also is a bad a—. In her spare time she rides her bike up and down the West Hills of Portland, juggles, parents two kids and takes trips to emerging countries to help people who would otherwise not get surgery. I’m not a personal friend. I’ve been her patient for over a year and found these things out by peeling back the onion. I would highly recommend Dr. Zink. You will be in good hands.

Well presented analysis of my situation with alternatives presented. Surgeons who are over-anxious to recommend their surgical treatment are to be avoided. Dr. Zink is well prepared to do the hernia repair deed - but she left the final decision up to me.

Dr. Zink performed an umbilical hernia repair surgery on me in June of 2021. While prepping for the surgery she was yelling at the nurses in front of me, which should have been a red flag for me. Afterwards I was in intense pain and she was extremely dismissive. This pain has not gone away 1.5 year later, and my regular doctor determined she pinched a nerve during the surgery which cannot be repaired (abdominal nerve entrapment). This causes daily sharp abdominal pains. I went back to Dr. Zink multiple times after the surgery due to this chronic pain and each time she just palpated my surgery site and said the repair was fine and to wait longer and the pain might go away on its own. It turns out the repair isn't even fine, one year later in summer 2022 during an ultrasound I found out the repair had failed and the hernia is back in the same spot and even larger than before. Bad surgeon, bad level of care, poor bedside manner. I wish I'd never met her.

Dr. Sink was amazing! Diagnosed a hernia when for over a year I thought I had a lipoma! So impressed!
