Dr. Karen Nakamoto, MD

Dr Nakamoto sees my 97 year old mother, the care she provides is amazing. Always compassionate, understanding, and caring. She is very thorough and answers all concerns. I’m so grateful.

If you are fortunate to have Dr. Nakamoto as your OB GYN, consider yourself blessed. Her office staff is friendly & courteous and they treat you as if you were long time friends. This begins at the top with Dr Karen. She is patient and you’ll never feel rushed. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. Let’s just say I trust her & she has my best interest at heart.

This doctor was schedule to be my wife's delivery doctor. She knew my wife had two back to back miscarriages, but this pregnancy is healthy and everything is going well. She is 21 weeks pregnant and in a birthing class taught by a labor nurse. The labor nurse suggests to send a PDF to the delivery doctor asking about their experience delivering. My wife did that given this is our first child. The doctor got her PDF and replied back that she is no longer a "good match." No phone calls, no explanations, just unprofessionalism. Highly don't recommend. Now the stress this is creating is ridiculous. All because of this doctor.

Dr. Nakamoto is wonderful, and I am very happy with the care I receive from her. Her office staff, on the other hand, are very rude and talk down to (or at) patients. I find it extremely difficult to get an appointment because you have to go through the interrogation by the front office staff before you can get to see Dr. Nakamoto.
