Dr. Kamal Bohsali, MD

Once again Dr Bohsali operated on me and took care of me. This time he did a reverse shoulder replacement surgery and everything went very well. He has done my knee and other shoulder as well has operated on my wifes knee and my Father's hip. He has the best bed side manner of any Dr I have ever met. I honestly consider him not only my Doctor but a friend as well. He is the best !!

Dr. Bohsali operated on my torn meniscus of my knee and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I am back to work and doing great. He has a great bedside manner and is very attentive to what I am saying. My knee is much better !

Dr. Bosahli was new to JOI where I had been monitored for 13 years with right shoulder isssues. My JOI doc had to have surgery of his own and referred me over to Dr. Bohsali. He was very friendly, upbeat and confidently recommended total shoulder replacement surgery. He seemed pleased with the surgery outcome but all the follow up visits were negative as I had very limited ROM with new shoulder. He finally sent me to JOI PT and Amanda Garland was great. But by the end of our time together she was devising strategies for me to compensate for the failed ROM. I continued doing the exercises including installing eye hooks for resistance band exercises and one of those finger stairs. Prior to COVID I saw another DPT, Julia Brooke Lupo. She also worked me hard but with very limited success. It’s almost 4 years later and I cannot work overhead or tuck in my shirt behind my back. Because of the ongoing pain I have not slept in a bed since prior to the surgery. At this point I’m just stuck

Dr Bohsali is the best Dr around. I trust his judgement and his professionalism is beyond what you would expect. I have consulted with him on a couple issues and his diagnosis is spot on. His office visits are time well spent as he explains in detail. He is always my recommendation.

Dr. Bohsali is truly a wonderful surgeon! He takes time to explain and make sure you understand everything. He doesn’t rush away or make you feel as if you’re a bother, he truly cares. He and his staff aren’t very professional. I did my research on him beforehand choosing him to do my surgery... so happy that I did! Thanks

Dr. Bohsali repaired my broken ankle superbly. I broke three bones and got through the ordeal with almost no pain. I recommend him highly.

Dr Bohsali performed Rotator Cuff surgery on my shoulder after I suffered a severe dislocation on the ski slopes. An avid golfer at age 72, I was very skeptical that I would heal well enough to play golf again. 6mos after Dr Bosahli's surgery I'm back to playing 3-4 times a week with no pain & no reduced range of motion. He's a genius.

Dr. Bohsali repaired my sons 5 piece collarbone. my son is healthy and has 100% use of his shoulder and he will be repairing my rotator cuff in a couple weeks. Can't say enough good.

Dr Kamal Bohsali was unnecessary rude today refusing to greet my wife and myself and refusing to shake my hand. Sorry I failed to tell him he is fired.

Excellent patient care. Got me into and out of office with minimal waiting time and with a diagnosis that made sense for me. Great guy who talks with patients in clear and concise language!
