Dr. Montoya traumatized me for life with his condescending degrading treatment. I had been a bad car accident and was struggling with back pain 4 weeks after. He told me that it was all in my head and maybe I should see a therapist.. I've always been afraid to talk to doctors since about any problem I'm having.

I dealt with Dr. Montoya when my doctor recommended an MRI, and he was a representative of Pacific Source who denied my doctor's request to have my insurance cover the procedure. He was condescending and regardless of valid reasons given him by me or my doctor, he denied our access to the procedure. Since I could not afford the MRI, it did not happen. It was a classic example of an insurance company controlling my health care. Money wins out over efficient medical care.
