She gave me my life back!
About 10yrs ago I had a total colectomy, temporary ileostomy, and got a J-Pouch. So several surgeries and a few years of care with Dr. George. At the time, I was living in Bethel so had to fly into Anchorage for procedures and follow ups, which was no problem. Communication and care was always excellent with both her team and Dr George directly. Most importantly, Dr George was so attentive and caring. I was just out of high school so a very sensitive time for a young girl to be going through these things. Dr George made me feel comfortable and optimistic. Now, 10yrs later, I can say she truly changed and saved my life. I’ve had zero complications with my J-Pouch. She did such clean work you can barely see my scars anymore. I 100% recommend Dr George for your care. Thank you so so so much Dr George! I am forever grateful.

She don’t care fairbanks peatiens only anchorage will not do her job, will cancel 3 days before saying it’s emergency surgery when emergency surgery is that day. Will change disabled person over 100$ for Cancle Appointment wrong way, staff takes up to 3 months to get back to you, dr refers to help fairbanks patients, will forget you’ve surgery the next day, doesn’t even in year do 4 surgeries like she was supposed to every 6-8 weeks why? Because staff do not know how to communicate and dr does not know how to do her job anymore and shouldn’t be dr any long

I have been referred to June Goerge for continuing issues. I just love Dr Goerge. She makes you feel validated as she really listens. I am also impressed with the office staff who made me feel welcome, and don't mind having a conversation. To me a sense of humor is one of the best coping skills and I always leave laughing. Special thanks to Sarah for caring a little extra and for getting me. I am an entertainer and I know how tough it can be to stay positive and these guys have it!!!

Dr. June George found and treated a fistula that could not be found during many colonoscopies. I was so sick...she had a report from my OBYn. Set me up for surgery. Saved my life and well being. Somewhere in the early 2005.

Dr. George was very thorough and caring through my cancer diagnosis and surgery and follow up care. She was patient and took time answering all my questions. She never rushed and her focus was entirely on making me comfortable. I highly recommend her as a surgeon.

Through 2 colonoscopies, an IRC procedure, and a recent hemorrhoidectomy, (a 12 year relationship), Dr. George has listened to needs and concerns, effectively communicated my treatment options, and what I could expect for recovery for each. I tend to be a nervous and am quite modest about such um, 'intimate matters'. I find Dr. George to quite compassionate. Her obvious knowledge and experience base is quite re-assuring. Colon health is so important. Highly recommended practitioner!
