Great Doctor
Very caring and concerned-she actually listened to my concerns and we talked about solutions. She didn’t rush me through the appointment like some doctors who seemingly in have 15 minutes for you. She went over all my previous test results and medications with me and discussed them as well. Dr. Mullen is extremely thorough and quite nice too as was her staff.

I am not impressed by the care. Did most charting during visit as opposed to patient care. I am seeking a new physician.

Great Physician
Dr Mullen definitly researches the medications before she prescribes and I appreciate that she makes sure they are warranted. She does review your history and will check your labs to make sure you are not having issues. I appreciate the time she spent on my visit.

I saw Dr. Mullen for a pap smear. It was never done. Instead she spent the time shaming me for my weight. She told me to "just stop eating" (I have a history of anorexia) and to run at least 4 miles per day )I had a torn meniscus and was under treatment for a dislocated hip/pelvis as well at the time. The cherry on top was when she smiled, leaned against the wall, crossed her arms, and said "you think you're special, don't you? You're just a closet binge eater like the rest of them". I have never had such a terrible experience in my life from any medical professional - and I left feeling horrible. Do not ever go to this doctor.

Very controlling. Does not collaborate with patient regarding care; absolute in decisions. Finding another primary MD who will work with her patient. However, very good at patient education regarding wellness.

My appt. with Dr. Mullen was very bad. She did nothing to help me and would not do the blood tests I had wanted. I walked away not knowing anything about what my condition might be or what to do about it. A pharmacy aide helped me figure out my blood pressure machine but no one in the Dr. office would do it. I felt very rushed, angry, and disrespected when I left. The Dr. truly didn't care about my health conditions nor about me as a person. She was very cold, critical, rude.

I have always had good experiences with Dr. Mullen. She is not afraid to do the research on the pharmacy side before prescribing the meds and she can talk to me in lay mens terms so I understand. I am also not afraid to ask the questions I need to ask. She has a positive refreshing personality that is one of her good traits. She uses common sense and is not afraid to put it out there. I would rather have a direct physician than one that beats around the bush and refers you elsewhere.

I had to go to the emergency room while at a family reunion in North Carolina. Followed up with Dr. Mullen, who is supposed to be my GP, and told me to take Prilosec because I "probably just had too much acid buildup." After two months of stomach pain, she continued to tell me to just keep taking Prilosec, with no additional testing or treatment options offered. I have been to other functional medicine doctors who think I have candida, when I suggested it she laughed at me. Will not go back.

I felt Dr Mullen really listened to my concerns. She explains things very well so it is easily understood. She refers you for additional treatment if needed. This is the first doctors office I have gone to where my blood pressure didn't go up really high due to white coat syndrome because the office is very relaxing. I would highly recommend Dr. Mullen. She was recommended by a friend and I'm very happy to have found her.
