Dr. Julia Leo, DO

Dr. Leo is very professional and caring. She was very easy and comfortable to talk with. I clearly understood her thoughts and steps we would take to address my condition.

My nurse, Nancy that checked me was very kind, explained everything. She had a very calming manner and was friendly. After talking with Dr. Leo prior to my procedure, I felt very confident about her doing my procedure. She was very thorough. My procedure nurse, Cindy took excellent care of me. Dr. Leo came and talked to me prior to my discharge. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Leo!

I was referred by my PCP. Dr. Leo was nice and listened to my concerns. I was treated as an individual. Not lumped into an age group. I would recommend her.

Don't come here if you're young. You will be brushed off and told to drink water and have more fiber. They won't call you back after your procedure to discuss anything. They didn't test for endometriosis in the intestinal lining even though they should have, considering the details I went into about the timing of the issues. I went years ago, and now my intestinal problems are so severe that I am in pain every day and I have to see someone new.

From the first moment I arrived for my appointment I was treated with care. My entire procedure and visit was handled very professionally and with a level of care that was out of the ordinary.

The entire staff from the front office to Dr. Leo were absolutely incredible. Everyone was friendly and informative about every step of my procedure, which went well. I highly recommend Dr. Leo. Thank you!

I had been to lots of G.I doctors before I found Dr.Leo. I came to see her for a second opinion and I was miserable. I remember sitting in her office and being so sick. It had started to take an emotional toll on me and she was my last hope. Its been a couple years now and she has helped me so much! Dr. Leo has been such a blessing! She truly cares about her patients! I highly recommend her!

HORRIBLE! She diagnosed my daughter with Crohn's. When she gave her a pill endoscopy, she said it was severe and needed immediate treatment. She prescribed Humira. When it was rejected by insurance, she did NOTHING, no follow up to see why. 3 weeks later, I called insurance and pharmacy and got it resolved in 20 minutes! Unfortunately the next day my daughter had to go to the ER because of severe symptoms. The ER doctor called her, she said to give my daughter pain meds and send her home. Thankfully, the ER doctors didn't agree. After 3 days of treatment in hospital, they are now considering surgery. This would likely NOT have happened if this DO treated her sooner. I'm very scared what happens next due to her INCOMPETENCE!!

Very experienced, informative, helpful, and wasn't at all condescending like many doctors can be. I really appreciate her knowledgeability of EoE and am glad I have her on my Healthcare team.
