Great Neurosurgeon
Dr. Cook has operated on my back and my neck and next will be my SI joints. He’s awesome but St David’s Surgical Center Nursing staff is worst of the worst! Both times I had surgery they were less than stellar and I’m struggling with scheduling my SI joints surgery because of the lack of care and compassion.

HIGHLY recommend
I have seen more doctors than I care to admit for my spine. Dr. Cook takes so much time with each patient. He explains everything in great detail (isn't afraid of using medical terminology which I APPRECIATE). I would wait however long I need to to see him. He will not rush to surgery and offer the best route to hopefully get the desired outcome to be as pain free as possible. This was my first visit and it was a great experience.

I seen Dr Cook for my back. He discussed my situation with me and his recommendation was surgery. I was nervous and he took time to explain everything, he answered all my questions, and he wasn’t pushy. He gave me all the information and let me make my own decision. His bed side manner is excellent. He is truly a very good Dr who cares.

In November Dr Cook did reconstructive surgery on my spins. The nerves were wrapped around my spine. Before surgery there numbness in my legs and the pain was unreal. A month later the pain in my legs is gone. There is still numbness but it will take time for that to heal. He really cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to listen. I am so glad I found him. There is no one better

YES YES YES, I’d gladly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone who wants a highly skilled neurosurgeon! He is the best of the best! If you’re tired of physicians that don’t listen to what you’re trying to tell them, if you’re tired of having surgery after surgery, if you don’t understand what your current physician is talking about OR if you just need a physician you can trust, who will shoot it to you straight and explain everything in detail then look no further because Dr. Cook is the kindest, most gifted surgeon and he is also pretty darn easy on the eyes LOL but hey I’m only being honest! He is an amazing human being and he fixed my broken down and worn out back. I know it’s been 13 years and you moved away but I wanted to let you know I will forever be grateful for your skilled hands, your honesty “your pain won’t go away, but we can probably get you from a 8 to a 3 or 4 and it’s a long recovery” etc. I am so glad we did that surgery because I got my life back. Thank You Dr. Cook!!!

Great first visit. He was very thorough and explained in terms that were easy to understand. The wait time was longer than expected...but he took the time to apologize for the wait which meant a lot. Not every doctor does that.

I have had my first of two SI Joint fusions and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I am on my fourth week post op and I’m moving so well. The pain in the joint continues to improve. Dr Cook and His staff are fantastic and I look forward to one day being pain free. Dr Cook and his PA took so much time to go over the surgery and then at my post op appointment to insure all my questions were answered and that I was healing properly.

Busy as can be but always seems to be able to spend all the time necessary to answer any questions. This is the third time my wife has used him for different procedures, the latest being major back surgery that took about 6 hours to complete. She is better than ever and we're thrilled with Dr. Cook and his entire staff.
