For several years, I had experienced persistent pain in my left armpit. I underwent a series of medical imaging tests, including multiple ultrasounds, mammograms, and x-rays. The test results reported negative for cancer, though they did not mention the extensive scar tissue that had formed around my implants. The MRI results showed no signs of cancer, but did indicate partial ruptures in both of my breast implants. The MRI report did not mention the implants being surrounded by thick scar tissue. My left shoulder had been causing me pain for a couple of years and an x-ray revealed a slight impingement. Again, the scar tissue was not mentioned and no treatment stopped the pain.The day I walked into Dr. Halpern‘s office he took one look at my breasts and immediately knew that they were encapsulated. I had my stomach and thighs done. A year later and I never regained all the feeling in certain areas/ they are numb/ like my lower back.The results were overall unappealing. The Doctor said I didn’t need a tummy tuck yet now a have I band across my lower stomach/pelvis area with skin hanging over the band.I woke up from surgery with a burn on my leg from one of the hot sterile instruments. The doctor didn’t even offer to pay for the cream he prescribed to treat the burn. Nor did he offer to pay for the serum they sell to help reduce scarring. I thought top dollar would get me the best results but I was wrong. Very disappointed.

I actually had a major procedure the last of July 2023. I had to wait a while due to the Covid delays-but I can tell you, after my consult -I knew he was definitely the surgeon that I needed. He is very fastidious in his work ethic & I knew I was in the best hands period. And, his staff is knowledgeable & so gracious as well. I already have family members utilizing his services as well and I will remain a long time patient for sure.

I am 5 weeks post op for my procedure and I could not be happier! Dr Halpern and his staff are top notch. Everything was explained. The downtime was really not bad at all considering all the work Dr. Halpern did!!! I had a cheek and neck lift and I am very pleased with the results! People have been telling me I look so much better and certainly much younger than my age! Thanks Dr H. for another extremely successful surgery!!!!

Waste of time and money. I wanted specific areas of fat removed from my abdomen. I consulted with Dr Halpern several times and he gave detailed sketches of my surgical plan. After surgery, my abdomen was NOT noticeably flatter AND he did not remove the pocket fat above my belly button, which was my MAIN concern. Instead, he removed fat in ares that I had no issue with. It is as if he wanted to experiment on me to see how I would look after liposuctioning fat from certain areas of my abdomen (that was not part of the main plan!). He did NOT do what I wanted so I am back to square one! I did not even bother to schedule a post-op appointment with Dr Halpern and, of course, they have not attempted to continue to contact me now that the procedure is done.

This office has staff that is rude and ignorant and unhelpful with questions or concerns and are unaccommodating with clients that have not had a recent procedure.

Doctor Halpern is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever seen. He is an excellent surgeon and took his time explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. I'm very pleased with my results and have already referred many friends to him.

I am 7 weeks post-op and wanted to thank Dr Joshua Halpern and his staff for their vast knowledge, expertise, concern for their patients, and the extreme attention to detail from pre-op to surgery to post-op. I was extremely happy with my care and his skill. His bedside manner is impeccable. His staff is amazing. My results were awesome (bleph, endoscopic cheek lift, and endoscopic brow lift). I can’t believe how easy it was and painless. I took off from work only one week. I had minimal bruising and swelling and I was therefore not embarrassed to return to work. He takes a lot of time answering your questions to make sure you are comfortable. Definitely an artist. If I need any further services I will definitely call this office again. Highly recommend!

Dr. Halpern and his staff were so easy to work with and the I am so happy with the outcome. He is extremely thorough and detailed and if you follow all his instructions your recovery will be so much easier. Excellent surgeon. Very through. Prep to surgery is very thought out. He has his own facility for surgery. Less chance for infection. Very pleased with my facelift results! Staff is also very helpful.

I am 11 days post op from a breast augmentation with Dr. Halpern. After researching and a getting referral from a trusted friend I chose Dr. Halpern to do my surgery. He is a true artist and master surgeon. I had no pain! Unbelievable but true, all I had was soreness that was manageable! His innovative techniques and extremely hygienic operation room had me resting easy that I was in great hands. On day 3 I went for a long walk with my husband and could have went for miles but decided to just err on the side of caution and not over due it. Dr. Halpern listened to exactly what I wanted and he delivered. I could not be happier! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Joshua Halpern is definitely one of the best plastic surgeons in Tampa. First, the consultation was amazing. You WILL meet with him, unlike other offices where you first meet with a nurse or something. He is very patient and will give you all the time you need. He will answer all questions, show you what the plan would be, and then shows you pictures of previous patients. The quality of his work is amazing. Meticulous attention to detail. I’ve had two surgeries (three procedures) already and getting ready to do a third. At nearly 40 I wanted my dream body now, and Dr. Halpern is definitely making my dream come true. Even during and after surgery he is patient and will always answer your questions and take any worries away. Fantastic bedside manner. Everyone in the office is amazing too, and Kelly, the office manager, I think, has had tons of procedures done as well, so it is super comforting to talk to someone else who has been through it. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern!!

I couldn't have had a better experience with Dr. Halpern and his staff! I recently had my textured silicone gel implants from 2002 removed, along with the scar tissue capsule, and replaced with brand new smooth implants. He is very competent and friendly and answered all my questions completely. He's even developed his own techniques associated with explant capsule removal and lectured on his techniques to other surgeons. The staff is also very knowledgable and friendly. They work together in unison perfectly,  and from what I understand most of the staff have been with Dr. Halpern for many years. He gives free consultations on Wednesdays so everyone considering a procedure for whatever reason should schedule a free consult and you'll see what I'm talking about.
