Dr. David Halpern, MD

Dr. Halpern is such a knowledgeable surgeon. He immediately recognized my issue and had me in for surgery within a week, thanks to the efforts of his wonderful staff. Sylvia, Sharon and Linda dealt well with my post surgical issues (and pictures!) They are endlessly patient and kind.I remember years ago that Dr. H. left a dinner to come to the E.R. to fix my husband's face after an injury. He has since performed Dupuytren's surgery on his hand and carpal tunnel surgery on his wrist, all with excellent results.I felt very confident and connected with both Dr H. and his staff, something that is so important in patient care and is rare to find with physicians nowadays. I was almost sorry to have my final follow-up visit!I can recommend Dr Halpern highly and unreservedly. You are in great hands!

When you have cancer, you're sure to be scared and I had 2 lesions, Basal Cell Carcinoma, about the size of softballs on my leg that were completely overgrown and out of control. After being referred to multiple Dermatologists, Mohs Surgeons, none of them wanted to touch me. One of the Mohs Surgeons referred me to Dr. Halpern, who took great care in pre op and post op cutting away the cancer and replacing the wounds with skin grafts. Two doctors had already told me, including Dr. Halpern, that I could lose my leg if the cancer continued on it's way to my leg bone, but I knew losing my leg wasn't going to happen because I was in great hands with Dr. Halpern, his staff and the nurses at the Wound Center. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern for any type of cosmetic surgery you are considering. You don't get to be triple board certified if you are not the absolute best in your field. Thanks Doc. You and Sylvia are the best and I am grateful to you always.

He performed reconstructive rhinoplasty on my wife who had an extremely traumatic accident which essentially crushed her entire nose and orbital socket. The surgery was a success and since we've been home he's been extremely available and has proactively followed up with us countless times. We've all been so impressed by his above and beyond demeanor and his legitimate interest in his patients. I would recommend Dr. Halpern to anyone who had a similar need or circumstance.

Excellent Doctor and staff. Highly recommend him. To the comments below but she’s cancer free NO MELANOMA. Surgeries are never convenient and they never run on time completely out of doctors control especially when a trauma comes to play.

My daughter had a 9:00 arrival time for a 10:00 procedure to remove Melanoma from the middle of her right cheek. Dr. Halpern ended up doing the procedure at 5:00 pm- UNACCEPTABLE At the first follow up appt, he "removed the stiches," and at the second follow up appt he said, "Oops, I guess there was one more stitch" and pulled it out which was extremely painful. Fast forward 5 months and she goes for a facial and the esthetician finds yet another stitch- again, UNACCEPTABLE

Too big for his britches. I rate him minus on chart. Zero follow up. No aftercare for regaining mobility in the joint he operated on. No way to get in touch with all drs at tgh Would NOT recommend halpern

Dr H and everyone in his office are the absolute nicest and most caring and attentive medical professionals I have ever met! He is a man who does Gods work! Dr. Halpern has wrapped his arms around my family and given hope to us and our daughter in the darkest of days! We will forever be in debt to him and forever thankful for the amazing work that he has done and continues to do for my daughter. He is truly an amazing Dr. and an all around compassionate human being.
