Refused to complete appointment procedure
Would not accept me at check in because I was using a Humana transport service and not their bonded one that does not take insurance requiring out of pocket cost. I complained loudly in the waiting area. Later the doctor called me and he got the same loud complaints & a 1 star review. In rebuttal he sent a disturbing letter to my PCP and I was informed getting any kind of doctor in DFW would be hard!

Thoughtful approach
I accompanied my wife this week when she saw Dr. Shelton as a new patient. She was a bit of a conundrum having recently been hospitalized and multiple ER visits with our having more questions than answers. He took his time, listened to our history, asked pertinent questions, then proceeded to thoughtfully give us his differential diagnosis and reasons which support or decrease the likelihood of each of the diagnoses. As a physician, I much appreciated this balanced and thoughtful approach.

Very impressed by quality of doctor, staff, locale
Last weeks procedures were the third time in a decade that I have been a patient of Dr. Shelton and his staff. As in previous visits, I was very impressed by the Quality of the services and the facility. Based on how smoothly all paperwork, consultation, and procedures went, it was evident that all staff had received excellent training and that everybody were committed to “put the patient’s needs, security, and comfort first”. Also, and very importantly, all communications were friendly, precise, complete, and timely.

Meticulous
I've been a patient of Dr. Shelton's for about 10 years. He has always shown a sincere interest in my health and identified concerns which could have been deadly had he not caught them in the early stages. Since that time he has been methodical and meticulous in his monitoring of my overall health and has ensured I'm able to live a normal life.

Under Dr. Shelton's care my condition has improved to the point that I can live a normal existence with a normal diet and travel with no stress!I have dealt with this condition for over 30 years and this is the very best I have felt in all that time!Excellent care, he is unhurried, attentive and easy to talk with regarding my concerns!

The care, compassion, and proficiency in every phase of my recent colonoscopy beginning at the check-in process and proceeding through the entire procedure itself and the recovery and release. I heartily recommend Dr. Shelton and his entire staff.
