Excellent Dr!
I live in Rockland, ME where we had sub-par medical services for years. As such, many of us have sought services elsewhere. But I ended up seeing Dr Scorpino in the ER for a fx ankle and quickly gained confidence in him and his staff. I consider him to be a top-notch orthopedist and surgeon. I’m now facing a knee replacement and will schedule with him without reservation.

Surgeries with Dr. Scordino
I will be having my fourth surgery with Dr. Skordino in March 2024. Both knees replaced and a previous emergency surgery due to an accident with a broken femur and hip. His skills, as well as his manner, are top notch. I would recommend him to anyone seeking orthopedic care.

Fractured wrist
At 72 I fell on ice and fractured my wrist. Dr Scordino remarked it was the worst fracture he had seen all winter but he repaired it splendidly. It has full motion and I have had no pain since healing from the surgery five years ago.

Dr. Scordino, the Michaelangelo of Orthopedic Surg
If doctors were Stone Masons, then Dr. Scolding is Michaelangelo. Consider the complications that my broken Tibia and Fibula existed in, a diabetic with a spiral fracture of the Tibia 3 inches above the ankle and a broken fibula 3 inches below the knee, I would have thought after 6 weeks, though noticeable, would be much more dramatic. He had to insert a Titanium Rod from the top of my Tibia to down past the break, using bolts to secure it in place. Even now, you can barely notice the unevenness that I was expecting. His technique is superb. More importantly, he and his staff are very personable. I felt he had genuine concern fir not just my injury, but also for how the hospital and his staff treated me. I was not an insurance number, nor just a dollar sign. He and his staff take the time and effort to hear any problems I might have that may be related to my injury. From direct communication with my physical therapist to helping me deal with a computer company that claims the da

Excellent. I had an accident, breaking femur and hip. Dr. Skordino pieced me back together! Outcome has been no issues, other than of course having to strengthen and become mobile again. The practice is responsive to patients, communicates, and give it a 5-star rating.

Old guy here. I've had multiple orthopedic problems since 1971. The excellent physician and friend who I partnered with throughout passed two years ago. A systemic medical problem contributes to almost all of my orthopedic issues. It's not easy for me to give a complete history. But Dr. Scordino's exemplary listening skills, punctuated by appropriate questions, gave me confidence that I was being heard and understood in our initial meeting. I'm grateful for his partnership in my care.
