Dr Ojea dedicates himself to care for each patient is such a unique way. He is 100% present when meeting with you. He always has other patients but will never make you feel rushed. He is very thorough & knowledgeable. He knows medicine in and out. His staff is extremely caring & Juan will do anything he can to make it easier for you when it comes to the administrative, billing and correspondence with any outside specialists (bloodwork, scans, X-rays, etc). He even took the time to visit me at the hospital when I was at JFK. He was not the doctor treating me but wanted to check on me.

The staff is very friendly, cordial, helpful. I feel the Doctor gives me the impression I am the only patient scheduled that day with him. He isn't in a rush just to get an appointment completed.

I used to go to this dr. but stopped because of the incompetence of the office staff. I guess this has not changed. My mother has repeatedly been told that referrals have been sent into specialists and when she arrives at the specialists office, is turned away as the referral was never received. This happened twice in the last 3 weeks. It’s impossible to get any answers from the office staff either. Sad. She’s finally changing physicians, there’s no point in having the extra stress when you’re already dealing with a medical issue.

First, Juan handled all the prep lab requests, imaging, referral, and clearance details quickly and correctly. Juana greeted and checked me in, warmly. Then Dr Ojea examined, explained and advised with friendliness and current expertise, that gave me comfort going into a life changing surgery. Thank you.

I have been seeing Dr. O. since 2011 when I moved down here. He is the best diagnostician around. His personality is very calming and also his attitude exemplifies his caring. He is very thorough. I am still around (cancer) because of his caring, expertise and excellent professional recommendations.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ojea for years. He’s great. Kind, caring, understanding, honest, straightforward, trustworthy. I like his front desk staff and nurses, as well. Just an excellent office. I don’t see myself switching doctors unless I move. I have no complaints and plan to stick with this office.

I've known Dr. Ojea since 1990. I worked with him in the professional arena as a nurse, and chose him as our family physician when my children were young. He's an excellent, compassionate physician. I trust him with my life, and have referred him to many who are equally as grateful to have him.
