This is the most incompetent and dangerous doctor I have ever encountered. He prescribes incorrect medication and dosage. Do not go to him!!

Dr. Thys does not care about his patients. My brother saw him and got worse. My brother ended up at JFK hospital because he was suicidal and I was worried about him. I would call this doctor and he would not call me back during this terrible time. His lack of concern was shocking. I sent him faxes begging him to change my brother's medications since they were not working. He did not do this and released my brother from the hospital despite my pleas that he was not better and my brother had another breakdown and hospitalization 6 days later. The whole experience left me in a state of shock. I don't know how Dr. Thys looks himself in the mirror. He is negligent and his disregard for his patients is amoral and destructive. Run away from this awful doctor. Stay as far away from him as possible.

Dr. Thys' receptionist have historically been quite rude. However, as soon as I brought this to the Drs' attention he fixed it immediately. They are quite pleasant now. Dr. Thys has help my son with his anxiety considerably. I personally highly recommend him. Dan Schaub

OMG The most arrogant Dr. I have ever come in contact with. I would NOT recomend him for anything! Kept telling me "We don't do that". And when I asked what do you do he walked out of the exam room after I had waited OVER 2HOURS FOR HIM!

First off his office is run by his grown kids. they are as rude as rude can be.. in the midst of speaking to them, they tell you sit down and close the class window.. when i have called they never give the doctor his messages.. or if they do he will never never return a single phone call... he comes off as quiet and nice.. but actually has no bedside manner,,, just man of few words ,, even spoke to him about his staff and shrugged it off.. Do not go there!! It appears that he doesnt care!
