INEPT & UNPROFESSIONAL
I scheduled a NEW PATIENT appointment for 11/22/22 @ 12:30pm. At 10:30AM on the day of the appt, I received a call from his staff letting me know they needed to reschedule because the doctor STILL wasn't feeling well from COVID19! If he was sick, why did they wait 2 hours prior to the appt to reschedule?! They rescheduled it for the following week. My new appt was set for 11/28/2022 @ 12:30PM. As I'm walking out the door at 12pm to go to the appt, I get ANOTHER call from his office. The medical assistant has gone home sick, and he can't see patients without a medical assistant. She literally said, "it's the law." Now I've been working in the medical field for over 30 years. I have worked for and with oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, family practice, etc. YOU DO NOT NEED AN MA TO SEE PATIENTS unless you are doing a female exam! I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE! The most inept and unprofessional office I've dealt with and like I said, I've worked in MANY...

I made an appointment to have a routine skin check. After waiting 40 minutes beyond my appointment time, for which I arrived early to complete the required paperwork, I noticed another patient asking how much more time she would need to wait. Her appointment was for ten minutes before mine and there was another patient scheduled before her. I decided to cancel my appointment as my time available was limited, and I was feeling very disrespected for being made to wait for so long. The staff offered to take me back immediately once I told them of my disappointment but that would have meant others would have been made to wait even longer. The staff said this doctor often runs late and another patient told me it's best to call before coming into the office to find out how late he is running that day. Is this a way to run a practice? Isn't patient time valuable too? This office needs an overhaul to be able to improve operations and patient experiences. What a disappointment.

I was referred to Dr. Machuzak by another dermatologist because of his advanced expertise. I had a diagnosed melanoma that needed to be removed. I was immediately impressed by his depth of knowledge. As a trained Mohs surgeon, Dr Machuzak had the ability to do the surgery in office in a single visit, rather than the multiple procedures required by other dermatologists. He has a great demeanor and makes it obvious that he cares about his patients an the level of care he provides. I don't often write reviews, but this experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you Dr Machuzak!

Dr. Machuzak is by far the best doctor I have ever been to... and yes I’m talking across all specialties. I was a little nervous and as soon as Dr. Machuzak walked in (on time I might add) I immediately was at ease. He is so kind and warm it felt like receiving help from a friend. I highly recommend him over anyone (I’ve seen a lot of wha whaaa whaaaaa dermatologist) for all and any of your dermatological issues. You can tell and feel that his main goal is to ACTUALLY HELP YOU. The best. 100%

I have been a patient of Dr. Machuzak for several years and have always been more than pleased with his care. My husband was a patient before he died, and thought the world of Dr. Machuzak also. I would recommend him to anyone having skin problems of any kind. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he is kind, thoughtful and considerate. He also has a great sense of humor which always helps when you are at all nervous or concerned about a perceived problem.
