Cancel your appointment if u have one. Go somewhere else, ANY WHERE else. Worst man iv ever met. I don’t understand how is allowed to have a practice. It’s scary and sad.

Dr Chiara is arrogant and dismissive. I went to see him about ongoing ear pain after multiple ear infections. His response was there is nothing wrong with your ears! His office than submits my visit to insurance with an ICD code for TMJ.

Never again! I told him about my symptoms and he just looked at me like I had 3 heads. He didn't really ask me too many questions but did give me a lecture like I was a 5 year-old kid on what tinnitus is and that there is no cure so I just need to deal with it. No questions about if I have been having any other symptoms that go along with the tinnitus, like dizziness, headaches, etc. I got the vibe that he felt as if I was just wasting his time. He did jam an instrument in each of my nostrils and spread them open without giving me any warning, kind of like I was just a doll to practice doctor on.

Dr Chiara removed a tumor from my jawline and lipoma from my neck. Did a great job, I had a quick recovery and didn’t affect any facial nerves I was worried about. Happy patient. Wait time at appointments took a little while, but not a big deal when the big picture was surgery and he did a great job!

I got gaslit so bad. I started seeing Dr. Chiara in January. The very first visit I am told I will need surgery because there is no other way to fix the issue I have. My first mistake was not getting a second opinion, and my second mistake was not listening to the reviews. Needless to say i had the surgery, I was felt fine for the first 3 months after surgery. Then, I started having some additional issues. I made an urgent appointment with him and I am told that my symptoms have nothing to do with my surgery. He completely blew me off and did not care one bit how I was feeling. I made an appointment with a different ENT and this new ENT does feel this is the effects of the surgery and how the surgery was performed. I feel worse now then I did when i was having my issues before surgery.

I would never recommend Dr. Chiara. He strolls in and acts like he’s got somewhere better to be. He actually yawned through my appointment and treated me like I had no business being there completely disregarding my symptoms. Do not waste your time. The arrogance is unbelievable especially when he cannot provide any explanation.

I read the negative comments that are confusing to me as all of my experiences are exactly the opposite. Having a difficult time believing that they went to the same doctor at the same office. It seems odd that the complaints are way too similar. Never saw this in the last five years. Sour grapes or did this actually occur. My visits are always incredible, i feel well treated by his friendly staff. I do not wait more that 15 minutes ever to see him. His nurse is so kind, caring and efficient. Dr chiara is very pleasant, listens very carefully to my concern, explains my issue and the options that are available to resolve it.

Terrible bed side manners. Agree with other negative reviews. I will seek ENT services elsewhere after my experience

Dr. Chiara is an excellent doctor. I went to him to have a septoplasty done. He was thorough in his explanations, and gave me confidence in his abilities. Surgery and recovery were exactly as described, and results were better than expected. For the first time in my life, I can actually breathe. I highly recommend Dr. Chiara and his team to anyone needing a skilled ENT.

Didn't really examine at all, was late to the appointment. Definitely getting a second opinion. He didn't even let me know of all the risks of my surgery. He had an assistant PA or a student with him, she could only sit there and smile and laugh, she had no idea what she was doing at all and made me uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend anyone using this guy. Looks like he doesn't really want to work and has this superior attitude. Thumbs down all the way. Kinda shocked I was even reffered to him.

They didn’t respect our time, we had to wait 20 min or more, after surgery they didn’t call us to see if my daughter feels good. The post op appointment was FOUR weeks after the surgery! I don’t know what’s wrong with this office. When I explained my concerns to the doctor today about not calling after the surgery, he was very careless and rude. He said he will not apologize and did not feel bad. He is so rude and callous, and his office staff is not nice either. If I knew this I would not have taken my daughter here. No one returns your calls, even when you are just trying to pay for an operation. They do not take you seriously as a patient and they don’t care about you. I have never encountered this in my entire life, being in the medical field myself, this is absolutely unacceptable. Listen to the bad reviews and do not come here.

I really thought the bad reviews were probably exaggerated, but wow. Dr. Chiara is so rude, pompous, and arrogant it's insane. He was rude to my mother when she asked him a simple question and he has some of the worst bedside manner I have ever personally experienced. He talks over you the entire time and never lets you get your sentence out. He also does not care about you as a patient in regards to how you are feeling or how you are healing. Listen to the negative reviews. do not come here.

Went in for my tonsils which I have issues with 3-4 times a year with swelling and white spots. Dr Chiara is awesome, thorough, very confident in his abilities (although some may mistaken as arrogance, I don’t), gave me options and his recommendations due to my age and discussed possible risk, listened actively and attentively, asked questions, expressed his concerns, genuinely cares about giving the best care possible! I’m looking forward to updating review after my tonsillectomy.

Absolutely NOT he appeared that I was inconveniencing him - waited 30 minutes past my appointment time then when he came in he wouldn’t listen, the procedure was incredibly painful (after enduring the pain for 2 weeks waiting for the appointment). Once he finished with the painful vacuum - just said “you’re all done and can go” wouldn’t listen about my pain level and I endured another weekend of a painful and inflamed right ear! To top it off -he left a piece of equipment in my ear that fell as I walked out! I should have kept it, put in on the desk as I left! Will never return to that practice.

Has to be the worst doc I've ever seen & heard. I got there a half-hour early to fill out the paperwork and then I still waited and hour and 50 minutes before he graced me with his presence. I had taken in copies of ultrasound & a CAT scan as well as emergency room records, and of course the boat load of paperwork you fill out. He comes in & says "So what brings YOU here today?" All that time I waited and he didn't glance at one piece of paper?! That is why they only book a few new patient appointments per day~because they take more time. He NEVER physically examined the area where my problem was. He diagnosed me from across the room. Of course the Diagnosis Did Not fit the symptoms I was having AT ALL. He said he was ordering a test & I would be getting a call within the next week to week and a half and I never heard from his office again. And that is just peachy fine with me!!!!! (he also told me a few of my symptoms were neurological but I could tell he meant psychological)

Both my sons and myself have been seen my Dr Chiara. My three year old has had two surgery’s for tubes and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my son and myself. Also my five year old had a tonsillectomy, adenoids and his tongue tie fixed. Again, I couldn’t have felt more comfortable with Dr Chiara’s bedside manner and his staff as well. I have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so. Thanks Dr Chiara for your expertise and making us feel like family!

Disgraceful doctor who won’t listen to patients. He judged me before meeting me only from CT scan. He said the scan showed nothing and I don’t have sinus issues. He degraded me and disregarded my reports of post nasal drip, swollen nasal passage, yellow mucus, tooth pain, right ear pressure, swollen lymph nodes. He invaded my privacy by having a private conversation where other patients walked by. He said there was NO doctor that could help me. He offered second scan, but no way I'll go back.

Horrible bed side manner. I initially thought the reviews were a little harsh and I was referred here from my doctor... but they are not wrong! I would not recommend North Valley ENT to anyone. I will be going else where.

My visit to this doctor was a waste of my time. He is clueless about what is going on with my condition. He said it is very common to get what I have. He made me go for different tests which took me 3 1/2 weeks to get done. His office then called me two weeks later after the testing was done and told me that everything came back normal. I was told to arrive at 2:45 for my 3:15 apt. At 4:00 I was put in a rm for another 15 min. finally came in he looks at my mouth very quickly and says he doesnt know what it is and then later tells me my condition is common.
