Office medical staff terrible
I was admitted into KCMH over Easter weekend. After several tests, biopsies etc. Dr Cambio walked into my room advising he was the Urologist on staff at Kent. He then informed me I had to have a Stent put in my right kidney because a mass was pushing against the kidney.I asked to have it done at the hospital since I was already there and his answer was a defiant no. Had to be out patient at his office. Well his office staff mostly the medical staff had no consideration for the fact I was beginning chemo immediately. They make appointment without consulting you and you get a robo call advising you need to be at an appointment. The staff had no concern or consideration. They are rude and uncaring. I could go on and on. I have been fighting with this office for a month about blood in my urine and the fact the the Stent needs to come out.Tuesday is my day for Stent removal as an office procedure because I refuse to have any of his medical staff come near me. I will be reporting this office

Terrible nursing staff – Aug 21, 2023

Dr Cambio is remiss in his duties. Does not return calls and does not listen to his patience. My father was very fortunate to find a Doctor who cares because it saved his life. Still waiting for a return call from Cambio.

You might have the largest practice, via the merger, but what difference does it make if we can not get through to you on the phone? D Mauch

I cancelled a recent appointment due to my wife's medical emergency. When I was able to reschedule I called and spoke to a scheduler who set an appointment for today at their West Warwick office. I wrote the information into my paper calendar as we were speaking and also immediately entered it into my iPhone. When I arrived for my appointment today I was told that I did not have one scheduled in West Warwick but did have one on the books for later this month at another office. I was upset by this and was told that I could sit and wait in case something opened up sometime today. Unacceptable. I can't comment on the doctor because I did not see one but I have to believe that anyone who tolerates such a shoddy practice is probably a shoddy doctor.

I went to see Dr Cambio today, must say i have to disagree with the comment before mine. He is very intelligent, knowledgeable and SO handsome! Also spoke to Kim, his personal secretary, what a great person! so professional, also so smart and had an answer for all my questions. Too bad not everybody can see the same, if you focus on ONE bad person, makes me sad since his staff and MA's are amazing!!!!

It would have been nice to meet the doctor but the woman at the desk was so rude when asked about how long the wait time was we left ! Environment was similar to the registry as far as “check in”

I was recommended to Dr. Cambio after getting nowhere for 12 months with my previous Urologist and losing hope that I would ever be back to normal. Dr. Cambio told me he would have me back to normal by the beginning of the summer. He recommended and performed a Urolift procedure on me and my issues have been resolved. Dr. Cambio is an excellent doctor who is up on current practices, listens to his patients, and works to ensure a positive outcome. God bless him!

Dr. Cambio is the best! He is courteous, intelligent and thorough. I felt at ease with him. He performed a minor procedure in the office for me and it was painless! We need more docs like Dr. Cambio.

I didn't even get to set an appointment. When I first called, I got no answer. I was promptly called back, but as soon as I answered, was hung up on. I called back and spoke to a very unfriendly assistant. After taking my information she asked, "what do you want?" And then "what's your issue?". After telling her I wasn't sure about if I called the right place, she said, "We don't treat that here" and offered no other help.
