Two years with my left hip pain held me back from enjoying sports, activities and travel. When I met Dr Jose Rodriguez I felt confident and calm when he spoke to me about my bone on bone and osteoarthritis. After surgery I was able to walk that night and the following weeks were painless with a successful speedy recovery. I feel truly blessed to have him as my orthopedic surgeon. He’s caring, charming, professional, and a true champion. I can’t express my thanks enough. Thank you Dr Rodriguez you are an incredible surgeon. I had my hip replaced about 5 years ago. It has never felt right since the surgery and is still very painful at times. My quality of life has really suffered. I saw Dr. Rodriguez several times after the surgery to try and determine what was wrong. He appeared mostly annoyed and impatient about the situation and showed virtually no empathy. He basically turfed me off to other Orthopedists. You should know I am generally not a complainer. I had been athlete my whole life and was recruited by over 20 colleges and universities for both football and lacrosse. I was an amateur boxer and avid tennis player. The point is injuries and pain were a part of my life that I just sucked up and dealt with. Dr. Rodriguez may be a good surgeon and physician...but in my case I had a very bad experience and bad result that has negatively affected my life.

I remembered I never put in my review...and absolutely needed to. I have been a serious athlete and extensively involved in fitness since my teens (which means over 30 years). I say that because anyone involved in work with their bodies to that extent, for that long, knows that, inevitably, you are going to get to know a lot of different doctors, for a lot of different ailments/injuries. That being said, I will say this - Dr. Rodriguez is, unequivocally and without question, the finest doctor and the finest surgeon I have ever had care of any kind from (and I have seen some fine doctors in my time). He performed multiple complex surgeries on my legs to complete success and I am thankful I found him. Just as importantly, he is an outstanding human being (which I think is often forgotten nowadays, but just as - if not more - important).

I had a successful hip replacement 9 months ago. It was the best decision I ever made! Dr. Rodriquez is kind, thoughtful, gentle, compassionate and experienced. His office staff is professional and courteous. His physician assistants (PA's) are helpful and attentive. Throughout my entire experience, Dr. Rodriguez took the time to sit with me, answer all of my questions (some quite lengthy) and responded to 'all' of my emails. He is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being! I too, am a medical provider, and I have recommended Dr. Jose Rodriquez to many of my colleagues, family and friends. If It were possible, I would rate Dr. Rodriquez 'well beyond' 5 stars!! Book your appointment, with this surgeon! He is the Best! Intelligent and experienced! And a great humanitarian!

Had a hip replace 12-16 2016 it became infected horrible experience, instead of removing infected hip Dr Rodriquez claimed he cleaned infection out false 3 years later I have had septics and major problens.. Grade F and office is rude beware of that Bowtie

My experience with Dr J.Rodriquez was outstanding. He is skilled at his profession beyond word. I had a total hip replacement. It is amazing my pain is totally gone. He is sweet and gentle as well as his staff. He his highly recommended in my book.

This doctor is cold & uncaring. Arrogant is the only word I can think of. God forbid u ask him a question about his opinion! He has a big chip on his shoulder!

It has been 2 1/2 years since Dr. Rodriguez performed a total knee replacement on my left knee. Before the surgery my leg was starting to bow and I walked with a limp. I left the hospital the day after the surgery and after the post op pain finally went away I have been pain free and completely happy with my decision to have him do my surgery. I highly recommend him.

I am very disappointed the way my husband was treated at dr Rodriguez's office. I mad the appointment and was told he accepts Medicare and was booking surgeries 3 months out. After meeting with him, we were very impressed and were reading to book the surgery right away. The girl making the surgery appointment said he is not accepting Medicare as of January and that he is booked till February so basically our long ride into the city was of no value. we should have been notified.

Walked without assistance 96 hours post op after hip replacement.

Dr. Rodriguez not only is a brilliant surgeon, he is the most caring & sympathetic human being possible, with an excellent bedside manner. He listens to you, never rushing you, looking at you, not at the keys of a computer, inputting your medical history. He always takes care of his patients post - op himself; he is very "hands on"! His office staff, too, are top rate. I'm so happy & grateful to him for restoring my mobility & making me pain free after my total, bilateral, knee replacement!

The kindest most professional an great doctor. If you hip or knee issues look no further. He has replaced my hips ( a few years apart), I'm grateful to have him. He made going to the dentist worse than the two surgeries. He's the go to guy!
