Dr Geller is a gem! After 4 2nd opinions he was the only doctor to ease my anxiety and felt very confident that he will get me walking again. His staff is great and don't have to wait too long for the surgery. Looking very optimistic that he has great success rate.

5 years 10/18/18 - revision surgery THR. No pain!
Dr Geller performed revision THR surgery on my right hip in October, 2018. My original hip replacement of 9/2010 was performed at another well known NYC hospital. The results have been incredible. I went from constant post op pain (8 years) to no pain in 2018 and now five years later, still no pain. I’d go no where else. Thank Dr. Geller and team!

Dr. Geller did an awesome job on my right anterior hip replacement. I was walking with no hardware assistance after just 5 days and had almost no pain to speak of. I was walking normally within 2 weeks of surgery. Everyone was amazed to see my progress. Today, 1 month after surgery, I feel completely healed. There is hardly even a scar to see. This surgery was an unbelievably positive experience. Thanks to Dr. Geller and his team!

Dr. Geller is superb in all respects: he is a skilled surgeon (I had a speedy recovery from hip replacement in March 2020), he is very personable and instills great confidence. My experience with him, his staff and the follow-up with Linda Geraghty were all top rate.

Dr. Geller gave me my unencumbered life back. I stubbornly waited too long to have my hip replaced and for about 6 months every step I took was painful, climbing steps was the worst. After the operation, actually from the next day post-op, I was my old self again. I walk naturally and the pain is now only a bad memory. It is no wonder he is reviewed here over and over again as a 5 STAR surgeon. Well deserved!

I was surrounded by excellence with my stella Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Geller. I had my left total knee replaced and my right total knee replaced a little over 4 months apart. I was walking the next day after both surgeries. I feel reborn and renewed with both my new knees now. That crippling pain in both knees is now totally gone and I feel I have a new lease on life. I am so indebted to Dr. Geller and his stella team. His N.P. Linda Geraghty is so acutely informed and knowledgable, kind, understanding and always there for the patient. His R.N. and Right-hand Assistant Melissa Lotito is so special. She is there in an instant as well. Always ready to answer one's questions and requests. Dr. Jeffrey Geller is simply gifted and an orthopedic surgeon with total integrity. Columbia is blessed to have him on staff.

My experience with Dr. Gellar, his staff and St Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY was tremendous. While no one looks forward to needing a hip replacement, if you have to have it done there is no one better in my opinion! From beginning to end every detail was addressed and because of their expertise my recovery was quick and painless. If you’re considering Dr Gellar for your surgical needs you can rest easy knowing he’s the best! Thank you Dr. Gellar!

Dr. Geller was my surgeon for a total knee replacement. He was very patient with me in our pre-op visit. Took as much time as needed to answer all my questions and reassure me of the outcomes. The day of the surgery he was excellent and was great in the hospital. The post surgical visit was just as positive. Within 3 weeks I was walking without a cane and on my way to recovery. Great experience.

I had a hip replacement in 1999 that wore out, after years of skiing, bike riding, golf, and other activities. Dr. Geller was going to use the same approach used in the original surgery. However, after further review of the x-rays of the hip and discussion of my activity level, he decided on the anterior approach, which did not require the same amount of disruption of surrounding tissue. I was walking a short distance without a cane within five hours of surgery, and was released the same day.
