I've been w Dr Rivera for over ten years, and I can confidently say he is the best at what he does. Really great guy too.

Doctor Rivera is wonderful. He really cares about his patients and is not into the business of simply writing pain medications. I love all of his staff. Great experience overall!!!

Not good I informed him I was getting pain meds from regular doctor not a pain doctor he did not prescribe a medicine I could get they refused to prescribe it I had to continue with the one I had he did a procedure nerve block that caused more pain when I called for help they accused me of getting pain meds from other doctors which I didn't only one doctor messed up and wrote two different prescriptions by accident the same doctor I told him about so to cover his mistake he discharged me and excruciating pain the pain block nerve block did not work it made my pain down there worse he didn't want to hear it I couldn't get pain meds he did not give me pain meds he tried to prescribe a medicine that nobody would feel so I had to continue using the ones I had I did not lie he did you cannot trust this man he's trying to cover himself I have bruises on my arm my neck was wrenched from the procedure and so because he couldn't fix it he blamed me and turned on me and made up lies and excuses you cannot trust this guy he's only going to cover his own butt and he doesn't care about yours take my word for it I went from a 6 to a10 in pain levels after my procedure he cannot be trusted

I have been a patient for > 5 yearsI may not agree with all of his treatment suggestions, but I trust his opinions.

I brought my elderly mom to see Dr. Rivera due to ongoing, debilitating pain in her leg. She had seen other physicians in the area who couldn't determine how to help her and offered no suggestions. A friend recommended Rivera and we couldn't be happier. From the very beginning, he felt confident he could help her. She ended up with a spinal cord stimulator which has brought her great relief. Her spine will always cause her discomfort, but the leg pain was unbearable before no matter what she did with heat, ice, massage, and medications. The SCS has been a godsend and she can now get around with a walker instead of a wheelchair and she has been able to resume activities to care for herself independently. Even riding her trike in her neighborhood. Rivera is the best! We're beyond pleased and grateful to him.

During my first visit with Dr. Rivera he asked that I get an MRI of the hip site in question since my last MRI was in 2019. He also asked that I go to Tower Imaging since he would be able to go directly into my medical file to see the images and notes prior to my surgery. On June 24 I was finally all prepped when Dr. Rivera stopped by, and I asked him what he found on the new MRI. He said he hadn’t seen it. I told him he could also view it on the Tower website since that was where he TOLD me to get it done. About 10 minutes later he came out to me and said the pain area was much worse that what was there in 2019, and the injections would not do anything to alleviate my pain. They wheeled me into the operating room anyway; I was put under and given the injections. The pain in my hip is much worse that it was BEFORE the injections. When I spoke with Dr. Rivera on the phone about this and his NOT reading my MRI, he had no real answers for me. Do not go to this doctor!

Dr. Rivera is very professional, friendly and is knowledgeable about my pain issues. He's taken the appropriate steps to get testing done when necessary

Dr Rivera is a kind and caring doctor I moved to Florida from NY and was very concerned I was not going to find doctor to help manage my pain Dr Rivera has and continues to help me with his very knowledgeable decisions in my pain therapy When I first went to him his office was closer to my home unfortunately he was relocated about 40 minutes away by car but because he is such a great doctor I continue with him Very happy with his care and knowledge including always keeping up on current options

Do not go to this Doctor! The doctor and their office staff knowingly sent lab testing to a provider outside of our network (after informed of our choices) worth over $1000 just to make money. The office will now not take our calls, calls from our insurance company, or calls from the lab testing provider. They direct us to billing which is corporate not able to help since it was the office directly. I can only imagine how many other patients have had this happen to them and just end up paying.

Extremely patient. His knowledge is unsurpassed in diagnosing your issues after carefully listening, questioning, examining and discussing your individual issues. He has helped me over the past years being able to have a little bit of life back. He took over my health and pain after Dr. Barsa retired. My family and I are extremely appreciative to Dr. Rivera and his staff.

I have Ben with Dr. Rivera for almost 4 years! He is kind, considerate, and most of all skilled! I have followed him since he was in Spring Hill, I live in Brooksville, he's worth the drive!

very caring, very watchful and observant of your symptoms ! I find he'll do what's needed and no more to see how you do. I like his approach he's no insurance scammer. he takes care of his a patients with a very obvious sincerity that's much appreciated and seldom received by people that live in constant pain. I finally found him after he moved from Trinity FL be a long drive but so worth it. Find a great physician.. stay with him !

Dr. Rivera is very knowledgeable and empathetic, he truly takes the time to get to know you and actually discusses all of your issues and concerns. He is very pleasant and his bedside manners are superb. He is also up to date with current methods. I highly recommend him. The front staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Great team!

Dr. Rivera is a very thorough with getting to know what is going on with you and your pain. Also, he is a very kind and patient man who listens to you to fully understand what your underlying problems are. His staff is pleasant to work with. The wait time for visit's or even procedure's is not very long at all. I actually followed him from the Spring Hill office he used to work from to the Wesley Chapel office ( about an hour's drive for me) instead of a seven minute drive.

Dr. Rivera is compassionate and empathetic. During my first appointment, he took an hour trying to understand my history and pinpoint the source of my pain. I now have more energy, take less medication, and really enjoy life again. He has also recently helped my father and neighbor. I highly recommend Dr Rivera.
