Dr. Jonathan Edwards, MD

I am 70, have lived in many places around the country, and have had many PCP's. Dr. Edwards provided the most thorough and personable service I have experienced.

Dr. Edwards is very professional, but take what time is needed to communicate with me.

As a new resident to Asheville, I was without a physician when I became sick with a temperature of 103. I was referred to Dr. Jonathan Edwards who is now with Biltmore Medical Associates by a well-regarded Asheville surgeon and a FaceTime appt was conducted later that day. Dr. Edwards advised me to go directly to the ER and that he would call ahead. When I arrived at the ER, they had no knowledge of Dr. Edwards. After the ER, my temperature persisted and I attempted to reach Dr Edwards. I spoke directly with his assistant & left 4 messages over the course of the next week. To this day, I never received a reply nor was I able to arrange another appt. I understand Dr. Edwards is trying to build his practice. Being totally unresponsive to a patient, particularly one he sent to the ER, is just plain unprofessional and no way to generate positive word-of-mouth.

Best doctor i have ever had. I had seen him since 2000. I would loved to know where he is now.

Great physician I've been a patient for 15 years

I have been a patient of Dr Edwards for 4 years since moving to the Charlotte area. He is one of the finest physicians that I have had the pleasure of working with. He is attentive, compassionate, a great listener and has a wonderful sense of humor. He has a breadth of knowledge and character that sets him apart from others in the medical profession. I recently received a letter informing me that he has left Novant Health. Now I have to find out where he has gone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Edwards for over 10 years to find out yesterday he is no longer with the practice. I hope he is still in the Charlotte area.

Dr. Edwards is attentive and engaged. Refers you to the best of the best, because he's the best.

Have been a patient of Dr Edwards for over 14 yrs. By far the best physician I have ever met. He is very smart, very nice and most importantly the most caring physician that you will ever meet. The group that he works for are spreadsheet driven. If Dr. Edwards were to leave I would never step foot in the door. In spite of it, Dr Edwards does his very best to make sure that his time spent with you is well spent. I do not believe that I could have a better physician.

I had a great experience. Dr. Edwards listens and answers all questions. He really cares about all of his patients.
