Dr. Jon Horine, MD

Dr. Horine was the best gastroenterologist I’ve ever been to. Very detailed in his explanation of what was to happen, then again about the outcome of the procedure. A doctor who truly cared and who I trusted.

Dr. Horine is in the same medical group as my internist, and he conducted both of my colonoscopies, at ages 49 and 59. I felt lucky to have the Dr Horine perform and interpret results from both procedures. I have a lot of confidence in his expertise based on care provided by him and his staff in the operating rm, in his explanation of test results, and based on reputation. I also appreciated the time he spent explaining potential risks.

Dr. Horine and the entire staff did a great job of making me comfortable, answering any questions, and simply had outstanding bedside manner.

Dr Horine answered all my questions and took plenty of time to outline needed tests.

I've had some confusing health problems the past few years and I've been to many doctors. It is so hard to find a doctor who listens and even rarer to find a doctor who takes time to give a well rounded and personal response. I appreciated so much feeling heard and coming home with a thoughtful plan of care and a follow up visit scheduled. I am already seeing improvement in my over all health.

Dr. Horine and his staff were so kind and it is quite rare for a doctor to spend so much time when he was running behind. I was the last patient of the day and it was as if I were the first. Each staff person that I met was very courteous and knowledgeable as well. What a great office experience!

Dr Horine and his office are really nice and helpful, and I felt like they really listen to your concerns, and your not just a number. He sets down with you and asks questions and listens to your answers, and I feel like everyone in the office really cares and want you to feel better. Great People!!

Dr Jon Horine has been treating me and my wife Janice until Her Death Dec 1, 2017 for many Years. His attention to our health concerns were always sincere and to the point. My History of stomach bleeds were always treated quickly and with success. Even When Janice was Diagnosed with Alzheimer's He Managed to treat Her. If anyone out there is looking for a Gastroenterologist You could not find one any better than Dr Horine and his Staff.

Dr. Horine was professional and willing to take plenty of time to explain the procedure. He puts his patients at ease.

Of all the doctors I've seen over the years, Dr. Horine is the most thorough, knowledgeable in his field, and easy to talk to. Always takes the time to cover all questions. Procedures have gone complication-free.

Jon Horine, MD at Town Plaza Gastroenterology is a caring compassionate medical practitioner. He explains procedures and reasons for them thoroughly and understandably. He will sit with a patient (as he did with me recently) and address any concerns. I feel he has my best health interests at heart. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a gasteroenterologist!

First time of having a Colonoscopy done and was freaked out about having it done, Dr. Horine was wonderful explained the procedure and all the health risk. He is very thorough and a excellent doctor. was done and felt great no big deal, freaked out for no reason.

Same experience as last person--didn't meet Dr. Horine until the colonoscopy and he did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and confident he was the right person for the job. Sharing personal experience of his mother made it easy to relate to him. He did find something during my procedure and felt documentation of and future plans for my situation were well explained. Every nurse/doctor I encountered was nice and knowledgeable-explaining everything to me as we prepped for procedure.

Dr Horine seems committed to providing a very thorough colonoscopy. I did not meet him before the procedure but his staff was very helpful by phone. Before the procedure, he explained his mother had something missed in her colonoscopy and ended up with cancer, and so he has strong feelings for doing a good job. The hospital staff also said he is very thorough. He was very professional.
