Compassionate Surgeon
Dr. Wain is a kind, compassionate, talented surgeon that we highly recommend. His professionalism and expertise is solid (as is his reputation and CV).He removed a cancerous tumor from my 87 year old mother's lung last year. He was confident, reassuring and realistic about the procedure and after care. He's patient focused. My mother and family are grateful for this positive experience during a stressful time.

Dr. Wain was the most professional and informative doctor that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I have a problem with hospitals, and he was able to provide information that allowed me to be comfortable with the surgery and the hospital stay. I would highly recommend him to anyone that requires surgery in his specialty.

He gave my16 year old son a future. My son became a BSN . He specializes in pediatrics and NICU babies. He wants to pay it forward and tries to offer the same quality of care he received from Dr. Wain colleagues. We live in a small town in Texas about 1700 miles from Boston. He made sure that I was able to stay with my son when he was in the hospital. Dr. Wain has touched many many lives.

Consummate physician's physician. Was at MGH where I was on Staff. Approach to all patents is giving them his undivided attention. Thorough at listening, interpretIing studies and explaining every detail. Along with his surgical skills and experience, his colleagues treasure him. World class and humble.

Rushed through my father's cancer care, debilitating him (in ICU for months) and causing him to not be healthy enough to fight his cancer. Until this day, not a single word of condolences or sympathy for my family and lucky he has not yet been sued for malpractice.
