Never recommend him
I went to ER in Redmond in July 2024 due to severe back pain from sudden falling on stairs... Dr. John Strayer prescribed HYDROmorphone injection (1 mg) to control my pain. However, my body reacted severely to this injection, I was about to die. I remember the nurse was so clueless and repeatedly asking me 'are you passing away?' During those 2 hrs Dr. John Strayer didn't was seating outside on his chair as if nothing has happened. He prescribed the same medication for the next couple days (tabs this time), but the nurse told me 'don't take the tabs at all, the are the same as the injection...' My husband is a dentist and he was there in the ER with me. He was totally surprised and angry with what was going on there! I am pretty sure Dr. Strayer wouldn't take any responsibility if I had died as the result of this injection. A super irresponsible, robot-like doctor. I would never recommend him.
