We went to the Swedish Mill Creek ER for my wife after the Optum Urgent Care asked us to go to an ER right away for my wife's ear pain (horrible one for over 4 days). The UC did scare us a bit with a potential scenario of infection of the bone, etc. and to get a CT scan ASAP.It did take about 1 hour to see the doctor in the ER as they were dealing with multiple critical cases. But when Dr.Nayak came and took a look my wife's ear's he immediately assured that this was just a bad infection but the bones were not impacted. He was also able to prescribe ear drops on top of the antibiotics that didn't seem to have an effect for over 3 days. By next morning, my wife's ear pain had decreased significantly and within about 2 days her pain levels are near 0.More than anything Dr.Nayak seemed to be very knowledgeable and the way he re-assured that everything will be alright in 2 days confidently, was so comforting!

I walked in to the ER almost crawling with pain. My wife and 3 kids were so worried. He was very assuring. This is not the first time. He took care of my son at the Redmond ER. His examination and way he navigates was very detailed. He has excellent treatment planning. Excellent in differential diagnosis. Very empathetic to family and caregivers. Treatment planning was amazing especially in setting up the surgical center. Coordination with the team directors and setting the AMR was impressive.
