Dr. John Simon, MD

Dr. Simon was recommended to me by three different people, to repair a double hernia. He is a very , knowledgeable/professional surgeon. My surgery was almost painless and very effective. Ten years later no problems, no setbacks. I'm a very active 76 yr old now, and I've tested his work. I highly reccommend him. I've spent some time in the waiting room but definitely worth the wait.

No bedside manner. Explanation of condition was minimal. Staff was not cooperative when a request for a sibling to wait with the patient before the procedure was performed was denied. Would not recommend this surgeon

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, kindness, attentiveness and expertise of this doctor. I had a colectomy -colon resection which was more than I thought it would be! His bedside manner is exemplary. He is also very well thought of by all. One of the most gentle doctors I have ever met. After the surgery he was at my bedside every morning in the hospital, not sending a colleague instead. His follow-up visit was caring, informative and not rushed. He genuinely cares about his patients
