Dr. John O'Brien, MD

Dr. O’Brien was my PCP for probably 15 years. Every visit he would ask me the exact same questions and never had the previous answers to refer to (in my opinion because he was taking notes on an old yellow legal pad ) so it was like starting over every single time. They also never used any of my previous tests to do a compare to see if I was getting better or worse felt like they were basically going through the motions. They were also very quick to prescribe pills and medication versus trying to get to the root cause of something. There were one or two really good nurse practitioners but they told me it was not a great practice to work at and ultimately left. My very last visit for an annual check up I was ushered into a room and they put the hard sell on me because he was switching to concierge service and I said no several times to the point where I had to almost raise my voice. They went through with my very last annual physical with a very bad attitude - and they had a young nurse do it, no Dr OBrien - which really summed up how that practice operated. I can’t believe they are any different now other than taking lots of money up front.

Dr. O’Brien and his staff are the finest in the medical field. They are very professional, considerate, and extremely knowledgeable. It is actually a joy to see Dr. OBrien and his staff each year. Dr. O’Brien is an excellent physician. I have been going to him for over 20 years and think he is the finest in his profession.

He is personable, experienced, and compassionate. Dr. O'Brien and his team go out of there way to address your issues and to make sure that your expectations are being met. Their network enables them to go the extra mile to expedite urgent issues to accommodate all your needs. I would highly recommend him and his team.
