I felt very well cared for by Dr. Leung. I was shocked at some of the other reviews saying he was rushed and not considerate. I felt my experience was very different. Although he can be blunt, I felt that everything he said and asked during my appointment was in direct response to concern for my well-being. I felt taken care of and reassured that we would get to the bottom of my health concerns, and I did not feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Leung.

Best Doctor
Telehealth
I started going to Dr. Leung after many years of not being diagnosed and passed on from specialist to specialist. He diagnosed me within a few visits with MCAS and EOE (rare diseases) and started me on a treatment plan. I have followed him now for a few years. He is very thorough with checking my labs and making sure everything is going smooth. He recently noticed some of my labs increased and pushed me to find the correct specialist to treat my new diagnosis that was out of his scope. it took three more of the new specialists to listen to Dr. Leung's advise and start treating me. He is genuine and very concerned for my health as well as my son's who was going through his own rare medical issues and he referred him to the correct specialist as well. Highly recommend him and his great team.

Atrocious bedside manner
Telehealth
I was absolutely horrified at Dr. Leung’s demeanor. He was abrasive, condescending and acted as if I were inconveniencing him by asking questions about my GI issues. He was dismissive of my concerns, specifically regarding my family history of colorectal cancer and polyps. He was the most uncompassionate physician I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. A day or two after this upsetting encounter, I called to cancel all my subsequent appointments, including my colonoscopy. I did not feel comfortable being put under anesthesia under his supervision.

Not worth your time
Dr Leung didn’t spend any rime w me and when I told him my new symptoms totally blew off. Felt like a meat market and moving people through at a very fast pace. Reality is my symptoms are pre cancerous and not just an inconvenience as this physician suggested. Don’t settle. You can do better. It requires work but isn’t your life worth it?

Dr. Leung is one of the most attentive, knowledgeable, and empathetic physicians I have worked with. He listened to my concerns and did a great job of explaining his treatment plan to me in detail. The staff are also all incredibly helpful and makes the experience go smoothly. Would recommend him to anyone in need of an allergy/GI consult.

Dr.Leung is an amazing physician. He is so knowledgeable. He is empathetic and truly cares about his patients. I’ve seen so many doctors around Boston. but I must say no other doctor cared enough to followup with all of my health-related issues but Dr.Leung. This important qualification needs to be remembered when choosing a doctor. I never had any problem with his staff. In fact, I had a great experience during my first visit because of a member of his staff. I remember very well how nervous and frustrated I was before my first visit. I was first seen by his assistant, a Lebanese doctor. His assistant was attentive, understanding and so empathetic. He reassured me that I was in good hands. After that I was seen by Dr. Leung, who was well informed about my symptoms. Dr.Leung has been following up with my case since then. He is knowledgeable, energetic, reassuring, and trustworthy. I recommend him to everyone seeking resolution to his medical issues.

I had been sick for about 10 days prior to seeing Dr. Leung and when he saw me, he immediately knew I needed quick medical attention and helped me get the right treatment & surgery asap! He has been a God sent because even when I was not able to hear back from Tufts hospital docs and staff, Dr. Leung kept checking in on my progress and recovery. I truly appreciate his quick diagnosis and attention to detail.

I probably wouldn’t return. I had some medical concerns and I knew that identifying as a member of the LGBT community it was important for the physician to know about about this. I felt that the bedside manner was poor and honestly felt like I was being shamed for my sexuality. He is a knowlegdgeable Dr I just wish he was more professional with the way he words things.

I did my immigration medical exam here. The visit itself cost $180 and does NOT include any of the required lab tests. That's just the amount the doctor charges to fill in the form. I have already paid over $400 out of pocket, and just got another bill from my insurance company claiming that I owe another $350 for lab tests. This is ridiculous. USCIS accepts both skin tests and QuantiFeron for TB, and skin tests are generally much cheaper. Dr. Leung does not offer it as an option at all.
