Linda Benjamin MD
Dr Kane did my original surgery and has been involved with my caring ever since. Postoperatively I had a variety of complications (not surgically related) and he was always supportive. It’s been 5 years that I’ve been cancer free and he’s always been reassuring with each follow up visit. He always listens to my questions, provides me with the information that I need and has been incredibly friendly as well. Hopefully I’ll never need any further surgery from him(he’s assured me that the type of tumor I had is highly unlikely to ever metastasize), but I’d be more than happy to have him be the one performing any other procedure for me. I have complete confidence and respect for him ,his knowledge and capabilities.

Put me at ease
I recently was diagnosed with melanoma. Dr Kane explained everything in a way I understand. He is confident, kind and seems to really care. Cancer is a touchy subject for me as I lost my mom almost 10yrs ago to breast cancer. He allowed me time to cry when I couldn’t get my words out to ask questions. He didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I feel like I’m in good hands with him. I had to wait a little while to see him but I’m assuming he was with someone else who needed a little extra time so I didn’t mind waiting.

Not really sure why there's 1-star reviews - there's no evidence those reviews give that warrant 1-star. Dr. Kane explained everything, was knowledgeable and thorough pre and post treatment for a DFSP lesion removal. No complications, healing very well, and have already recommended him to numerous other people (and I'm a particular health professional too).

In October? Dr. Kane removed a liposarcoma from my between my right pectoral muscles. I had very little pane and no nerve or muscle deficit resulting from the surgery, and as of my visit today, there is no sign of problems. The Dr. has been open and pleasant in all my interactions with him (as well as his staff).

Dr. Kane is sub par at best. He's very arrogant, which is interesting considering the fact that he gave us so much incorrect information. Cancer is serious - find a credible doctor and don't take a huge chance here!

Dr. Kane is nothing short of a lifesaver. As a sarcoma specialist, he performed the proper surgery that a general surgeon attempted on me a month prior. He is kind, caring and trusting expert. Our family owes him so much. Highly recommended.
