Rude…lacks bedside manner, I did not like him

I brought my father in ON TIME, was kept waiting to sign in, sat down, waited, and was then told that because we were late, they may have to reschedule us. I was flabbergasted!

I am a summer resident if I had a problem in urology I would fly back to see him from Florida.

I have great confidence in Dr. Homa as he recently treated me for a very serious condition. He was thorough and made sure that I was treated in a timely manner.

I had test on my bladder which required the better part of a day at Cape Cod Hosp. Dr. Homa was my Doctor. I was extremely pleased with him. And I would recommend him.

Dr Homa seemed fine, articulate, and knowledgeable, but didn't leave much room in the conversation for me to speak. I agreed to a prostate biopsy due to elevated PSA which is a little anxiety provoking, finished my preparations, and then received a call one hour before to cancel the procedure because an imaging tech wasn't available. I was "pissed." The receptionist, rather than talking me down off the ledge, hung up, and no one has followed up. You think the next available opening would be offered. But no. I wouldn't step into this office again without an apology. The cancellation message made no apology for the cancellation and no offer to reschedule. If these people worked in real customer service, they'd need much better training. I guess since we need health providers, we are expected to be happy with anything.

Doctor Homa was excellent in his treatment of my kidney stones. He performed my many surgeries, and I’ve seen him for multiple follow up visits. He was very informative, and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions. He was very kind and compassionate, and always ran on time. I would highly recommend him to friends and family!

Is very cold has no bed side manners and quite frankly treats you like the gum that gets stuck on the bottom of your shoe. Has no desire to really answer any of your questions and can’t wait to be done with you. He actually acts like a robot. I would not ever recommend him .

While likely competent, I have always felt that Dr. Homa was double parked somewhere. He may be trying to come off as professional, but he is cool/cold and automaton-like. I don't feel like he's *really* listening ... but hears "enough" to get through the appointment quickly.

Dr. Homa provided Lithotripsy procedure for my kidney stone problem four years ago. I found him very knowledgable, kind and sympathetic. The staff were courteous and followup calls were made after the procedure. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend Dr. Homa.

Friendly and seems to know what he is doing.
