I did not feel welcomed when I walked in. The front desk never looked at me or smiled at me. I don't know if it was a race thing or she was having a bad morning. It was only 9am. I felt rushed on my visit with the doctor. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and my shoulder hurts worse than when I went in. He gave me a cortizone shot and I was still in paid. He said he probably injected it in the wrong area and asked if wanted another shot. I told him no. The ER sent me to an orthopedic to do an MRI and the doctor didn't even do one.

Totally Satisfied
Dr. Heinrich was a complete Blessing and answer to my situation! Early in my youth and Naval service, an accident required the complete removal of the cartilage from my right knee. Now, after over 50 plus years and much fighting to confirm that I had been walking bone on bone, Dr. Heinrich and his team have given me a better daily life style. With the results I have experienced, I have already recommended him to other personal contacts.

Very Positive Experience
Having not had major surgery before, I was nervous and worried. Dr. Heinrich was very calming and informative. The surgery went well as did the post-op appointments.

Very satisfied with knee surgery
Dr.Heinrich did a great job on my knee replacement surgery. His staff was responsive and helpful. Dr. Heinrich is a very personable doctor, easy to meet with. He listens, answers questions, shows you the scans, and provides options. My surgery went VERY well. Kudos to his anesthesiologist as well! I went straight to physical therapy the Monday after my Friday surgery, followed the program outlined by the therapist and the Force app, and was walking without assistance in less than a month. Not bad for an old lady! Didn’t even need the pain pills after 2 days. Will definitely go back to Dr. Heinrich if I ever need the other one done.

Best Doctor and Satff
Dr. Heinrich and his staff are the most pleasant and professional staff that I have ever encountered. He performed knee replacements on both of my knees (3 months apart) and they have both been very successful. Previous to the replacements, I received injections and they provided temporary relief as he had stated. I have no hesitancy to recommend Dr. Heinrich to anyone contemplating knee surgery. But, you got to do the Physical Therapy for total success!

Great Orthopedic Surgeon and Practice
My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Heinrich. We both had knee injuries that required surgery. (ACL tear and torn meniscus) Through all phases of evaluation and surgery Dr. Heinrich and his staff provided excellent support, help and guidance; answered all of our questions; and facilitated our physical therapy. We are both doing great and are enjoying all of the activities that were impacted because of our injuries. Dr. Heinrich is not only a gifted surgeon, he is compassionate, trustworthy and cares about his patients. The office and staff are excellent as well. This is a practice that is truly committed to helping people.

Speed and quality
The most integrated experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. Everyone from the scheduling, front desk, imaging, and all the parts in between. Dr. Heinrich reviewed my injury (and the X-rays) to provided the insights for a meaningful recovery. Highly recommend seeing him!

Dr. Heinrich took care of my poor arthritic knees with steroid shots and aspiration for a year. It worked well at first, but then, as expected, became inefficient. I opted for a double knee replacement. He used his partner, Dr. Medlock, to replace one knee while he replaced the other. I wanted only one surgery. It was successful beyond my expectation! I went to Europe at 12 weeks post op and walked for 3-4 miles a day on tours without any significant pain. I'm now 10 months post op and a great fan of Dr. Heinrich! All is good.

Dr. Heinrich did a poor job on my partial knee replacement. After 2 years, I was still in pain. Ended up having a revision with a different surgeon. He did not put the implant in properly and left my kneecap full of arthritis and did not use protective measures to stop the implant from hitting my kneecap. When I reported the pain, all he was worried about was working on my other knee. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I went in with a knee and hip injury. He walked in and said "How's your fibromyalgia, I mean knee pain?" I had a totally torn tendon, and he was passing the localized pain off as fibromyalgia. Won't see him again and don't recommend.

Dr. Heinrich's attitude is brusque & arrogant. I've seen him twice to get a knee replacement. The first time, he said I was "too young" and would outlive the replacement. Five years later, he's now refusing because I'm "too fat." The intern he had with him was more compassionate and answered my questions without a rude attitude or fatphobia.

Bone on bone in Dallas, TX – Feb 21, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Heinrich?
Dr. Heinrich was not a very good doctor. True story: I left that office thinking I must have accidentally seen a veterinarian instead of a medical facility. The doctor was rude, brushed off my pain and basically didn't listen to me at all. I don't know, maybe he thought he was speaking to a farm animal instead of a human being. I will never recommend him and think he ought to consider changing professions to that of a goat herder. Actually, that's giving goats a raw deal. Not good at all.

Dr. Heinrich certainly seems qualified, but the office moves patients in and out faster than Micky D's. They are efficient at collecting fees, but my online health report has yet to even name my condition or list any treatment. The last thing you want to hear about an orthopedic practice is that they're "bare bones."
