Last year( 8-24-22), I went to get out of bed and my prior hip surgery in 2009, my hip broke. It had been clicking for a few months and knew I needed to address this, but I was in the middle of working and finding another place to live. My hip broke and it had done a lot of damage, very unusual and complicated. I had to wait one week in the hospital and wait for a bed at UMC for a specialist, which ended up being Dr. Devries opted to do it. The surgery took several hours, longer than expected. I was in a lot of pain and scared, but along with his team( who he had them introduce themselves to me) and his reassurances that all would be alright. He is very kind, informative, patient and answered all my concerns. I will be going back to him and highly recomend his services.

Highly recommend
Dr DeVries is an exceptionally caring, thoughtful and thorough doctor. Wish we would have been able to schedule with him at the beginning of my husbands Sarcoma cancer journey but it is not an understatement to say we believe he saved my husbands life. In a medical system that feels mediocre at its best, DR DeVries is truly an example of what a doctor can and should be.
