Excellent & Empathetic
Dr. Buergler clearly explains the procedure he is going to do and how it went afterward. He is very empathetic and takes his time. My husband has seen him a couple of times during moments of stress. I feel blessed to have Dr. Buergler look after him.

In my opinion, Dr John Buergler is the most knowledgeable cardiologist and caring doctor I have ever associated with. The Methodist group is very fortunate to have such a doctor on its staff.

Had couple visits and didn't like the approach. First appointment there was a 2 and half hours delay. Second was 34 minutes delay. Doctor didn't answer my questions and didn't listen my concerns. I know my case is difficult since is auto immune disorder, but still, I'd expect some empathy and comprehension from his part. Was a cold environment and he seemed defensive and mocking us at the end of appointment. Giving 2 stars because his staff was good.

I had a couple of visits with Dr. Buergler but based on those two experiences probably I would look a little harder to find a specialist the next time. He seemed unprepared and didn't come across as warm. Seemed to be in a hurry and didn't seem as up-to-date on A-HCM.

Dr, Buergler has been my doctor for several years. Trust his knowledge very much and recommend him. Bedside manner is good but very short on time. Likes to come through like a wind storm so have your questions ready!
