Compassionate and knowledgeable provider.
The staff was pleasant and showed empathy for the patients coming in. Dr. Blair was wonderful, it was nice to see a Dr who look at my past history, saw what was already tried and failed, and wants to treat my problem not just give me temporary solutions.

No matter how my upcoming cervical surgery turns out, (Dr.Blair repaired my lower back 2 years ago with 2 titanium rods) and I am now 85 years old and living , happily in my home with a modicum of home health care. I am feeling confident Dr. Blair is a skilled Surgeon who will fix me up to enjoy a few more years in this crazy World.

Did not meet with doctor Blair but instead his PA
The disconnect stood out the most on this visit. I thought I was meeting doctor Blair but instead met his PA. I thought the PA had to be with the doctor when examining me but maybe I just dont know. Never met or seen the doctor. PA appeared to be okay. Nothing stood out except my experience with no reply from him in mychart. I forgot to ask something and called just as I entered the freeway. Staff answering the phone mentioned for me to just use mychart, which I did. 2 days later I had to call as I wanted to know if I could do something that I did not feel comfortable with doing without some professional advice. Still no answer until I sent another message towards the end of day. Which this time it was from his assistant. Another layer. So for me, went to see the doctor and met with his PA and then with the disconnect I did not even get a reply from either doctor Blair or his PA but instead another person. Maybe this is normal to this practice, just not to me.

In depth, quick, friendly
Admittedly on the way to the appt I read some reviews on the doctor and got a little nervous. Then I met him and my worries were completely removed. He was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate. He could have agreed with the diagnosis my local hospital gave and told me I needed surgery but he said 'You don't have any fractures, I do not agree with their assessment, you sprained your back badly and need to take it very easy or there is a decent chance your disc could rupture. Take it easy for a month and see me again. If you aren't healed we can do an MRI and go from there.' I am very thankful I ended up in his care.

Always comfortable to come see Dr. Blair
This was just a very short consult visit with Dr. Blair about a declining condition of my back and leg sciatic problem. Dr. Blair performed a laminectomy and micro discectomy procedure a little over three years ago on me, and I came in today because of significantly increasing pain and problems with my back and legs, to which he is going to order a new MRI to be conducted on my back before going further. I was extremely happy with how my surgery went a few years ago, of course wish the results would’ve lasted longer, but I trust Dr. Blair completely and whatever he may decide to do. I’m very comfortable with him, I also appreciate that he performed a very good neck fusion surgery on my father a few years ago as well.

Left my wife in a hospital saying she was 'faking'
This doctor operated on my wife in 2012 and 2013. The second surgery left her bedridden and he shipped her off into a nursing home at 22 years old. She was stuck there for a year being told by Washington State Labor and Industries that she was just 'faking' pain. She's still bedridden today with 2 more surgeries since then for the failures of this doctor 10 years ago.

Complex back pain visit
Dr Blair was good listener, patient, used spine model to explain my condition and frankly discussed risks and benefits of both surgical and non-surgical treatment strategies. I left with all info needed for my decision making.
