Dr. Joan Haselkorn, MD

Waiting over an hour for a five minute check up is unacceptable. Staff is rude and dismissive. Haselkorn is not up to speed with having portal to communicate and letting patients see visit notes. Trying to reach her is impossible! I am going to get records transferred after seeing her for years which is sad. She won’t last long with these reviews.

The staff is very unprofessional, they put you on hold for over 15 minutes or longer. Every time you try to make an appointment or ask for a report it seems the staff have zero knowledge of what you’re requesting. It seems they are always training a new staff member. The waiting room time is roughly 2-3 hours long. The examination won’t be no longer then 5 minutes long. Both doctors are rude. Dr. haselkorn internal sonogram machine is filthy. Overall the office is clean, but I won’t be coming back after a few visits.

Dr Haselkorn is great. Unfortunately the staff should be fired. I called to obtain my medical records for 2016 and 2017, due to my moving out of state. It would have consisted of about 4 pages. I called every other day for 3 weeks and was given many different stories as to where my chart was. Last time I called I was promised by the girl that she would find out what was happening with my chart. She never called me back. I called my friend who uses Haselkorn and was told that she too was trying to get a copy of her results but the staff kept brushing her off. I don’t understand why such a good doctor would keep an incompetent staff. They don’t know which end is up. I suggest after each visit before leaving the office that you ask for a copy of that day’s report and results of tests. If you need results of tests, don’t accept a phone call go to the office and pick up a copy for yourself. In case you need them in the future, you’ll be out of luck if you don’t have your own copy.

The staff is horrible. I had questions due to a prescription she prescribed me. I called in July and they kept saying they would leave my number for her to get back to me. Here it is 2 months later I received letter in the mail stating to call the office. I called and they said she was with patients and she would call me back during call back hours between 8 and 8:30pm. Received no call. Called back and said she will get the message to call me back. The service is horrible and very unprofessional.

I think that Dr. Haselkorn is a professional and a wonderful woman. My first visit was an extremely long wait, but I was happy to see her. Unfortunately, the staff does not seem to communicate messages to her and/or they are 3-4 weeks late getting back to me. I'm a new patient and my birth control prescription was never put in correctly and it's a month later now. I've left messages and they don't return the call. Maybe if they had some kind of system online it would be helpful. I'm trying to be as patient as I can, but I may have to look elsewhere.

The provider left a voicemail on my phone to call her back. She did not say what it was in regards to but I had my pap and a cervical cancer screening. I called but got the after hours so I could not leave a message. I had to wait until the next business to call which was a Monday. I left so much message, but no return calls. Today is wednesday and she is closed. I am feeling anxious because this could be an emergency and no one has gotten bck to me. Staff is horrible at relaying messages.

Although the wait can sometimes be long-Dr always takes the time to listen to and address all My questions and concerns. I know I am in great hands

This doctor only cares about money and not what’s best for you. She made me believe I needed an emergency surgery done while I went for 3 other opinions and other physicians have advised me other wise. The reason why she needed to do the surgery urgently is so she flat out said I’m going on vacation so this needs to be done ASAP. Also she didn’t want to go to a meeting and doing this surgery would get her out of it. Anyways 4 weeks later and don’t or ever needed a surgery. BEWARE DONT GO HERE

Doctor Haselkorn is an amazing doctor who listens to what I have to say,answers questions at length and so I am able to comprehend the answer. She is everything I want in a gynecologist. However, I have had an ongoing issue with her billing department and lab work, and she does not return messages in a fast manner. The reason I stay with her is her expertise- I wish her staff/billing dept. matched up to her ability to serve patients.

Dr. Haselkorn is just wonderful. You may have to wait for your appointment but once in the room she will take her time and will explain everything. I don't mind waiting to receive such wonderful care.

I feel that Dr. Haselkorn was very attentive to my needs, she answered all of my questions. I've had several procedures done by her, including a hysterectomy, and several other procedures prior trying to avoid a hysterectomy. My only suggestion is to get the first appointment of the day, because the wait times are long.
