Dr. Jesus Herrera-Murillo, MD

I originally scheduled with Dr. Herrera - Murillo because urologist I wanted in Las Cruces had no availability until May (it was November) they told me he had opening in January. I took the appointment and immediately after meeting him realized why he had opening. Worst bed side manner I’ve ever experienced, the worst “specialist” I’ve ever met. He does not care about you as the patient you will feel that after your first appointment. Went to him a second time because sometimes people have off days, he was the slightest bit more caring, attentive, respectful, but he definitely rushed through the appointments and will leave you feeling what ever your dealing with is NOT his priority. I ended up calling the office in cruces and begging them to get me in which was still months wait but I guarantee it’ll be worth it! Wait the extra months, this Dr. should not be practicing medicine.

Holep procedure

I visited the doc and he was going to prescribe a med. he never called it in after two times of calling the office. I finally stopped by the office and the doc was out all day. I told her to cancel all future appointments. I can’t believe my primary doc referred me to him. What a shame!!!

On time, professional, caring, prompt, explains well

This person should never have been allowed to be in the medical field. My 88 year old Father is his patient. He has not showed up at any if the appointments. His PA does all his appts for him. My Father had a procedure for his prostate a year ago almost and he is still having issues. He can’t sleep for going to the restroom every three hours. His quality of life has dwindled. From being an active person to a non-active sedimentary person. Whatever you do, please do not go to this person he will not help you. But he will take your away your happiness.

Way overbooked, waited over 2 hrs for him. He has no concern for his pts, just focused on booking more patients; does not provide you with important surgery facts; his surgery caused double infections, Stay away!

He may be a good Dr ? but he does not return calls .He wanted me to drive to EP to get radiation 120 mile round trip many times .I kept leaving messages with the name and number of a Dr here in town who treated my friend. Called again and again over a six week period. Nothing,I got a new Urologist.Save yourself some grief ,who needs more?

A others have said, an administrative nightmare beyond description. I have been stood up on 4 appointments and have fired this practice 3 times now. When they finally got the picture and notified me they would not longer provide care, the letter was mailed and arrived 6 weeks late! 'Nuff said. The staff is only as good as their support team and this is the worst I've seen in 75 years.

Im still waiting for my referral to continue my cancer screenings. they promised me in a day I would get it, Its been 2 weeks now. still waiting.

This place is an administrative nightmare, Doctors are clearly overbooked. Long wait times only to find they have not received ordered lab work. Every appointment is a waste of time. They are very good at getting paid
